Scoring should be 50/50...not 75% of highest day and 25% of lowest....Sunday I think was scored higher...,also declarations have got to go for FP world bids! If u place 3rd it should not b given to AG instead ....just because.

The bid declaration for this competition is one of the most fair as far as any Worlds bid event goes - one to the highest AG, one to the highest coed (International not eligible for either) and one to the next highest scoring team (international eligible). The scores were posted and per the scores the bid declaration was followed as written.

Yes it’s fairly split amounts divisions but in some case scenarios an 8th or 9thplace or possibly lower will get the 1000’s of $$ over a team placing 3rd......

the 3 paid bids went to 3 teams that won their division at this comp
I am not saying the teams were not good........I am saying when it comes to the $$$$, it should be top placing overall of all world teams. Look what happen at Dallas last year.

I think for this particular comp that is exactly what happened so I'm not trying to argue I'm just confused by your comment.
For other events, unfortunately fair or not, the international teams are often not making money for the EP or the gym (and I had a kid on an IOC team and that team often has higher scores than paid bid winners so I get the frustration!) so the EPs are not going to put their investment in those teams. There are bid events that offer paid bids to open teams and senior teams equally and those are the competitions that open teams should take advantage of. I do think that because of the increasing popularity of gyms fielding open teams as the only way to keep a Worlds team, you may see more EPs offering paid bids to open teams.
