High School Southern Angle Technique

Is it just me or are high V’s from southern teams kind of wide? Like fists-out-to-your-ears-and-outside-your-peripheral-vision wide?

Just something I noticed from watching teams like Dunbar and binging CA vids. Nothing wrong with it; just different. Out here high V’s are slightly in front of your shoulders just inside your peripheral.

I am totally scrounging for things to talk about until tomorrow.

I think it's more of a UCA thing and less of a southern thing. We did it in college and I went to school in NJ.

I think its a UCA thing, but nothing makes me more mad then what I call the "all-Star" high V where it is loose and doesn't hit sharp, in front of you and more like a between touchdown and high V.. I cringe... I see it so much in the lower levels...

Funny is being more of a UCA style coach and getting laughed at for the way my kids clean shrug/dip before stunts and the way they clean clap. Sorry. lol.
