Summit schedule is up.

And today is the last day to buy discounted park hoppers for family members through the varsity website. Phew I just found that out by chance when I went to buy mine after putting it off for weeks.

Does anyone know if/how I can link my & CP's park tickets to My Disney Experience account, to book fast passes?

Unfortunately you can't link them until you get down there and pick up the actual ticket.

I still haven't received my luggage tags yet and I sent the form in via fax the same day I received the DME email. Anyone else not getting the luggage tags?

Do the girls bring their backpacks into the venues or should they leave them behind?

You can bring bags.

They organizers will take their bags after warmups (put them in a bin/trolly) and deliver it to them when they get off the mat. I think I a remembering this correctly.

SUPER frustrating that Varsity still has not released the D2 order of performance. We compete Friday in Wild Card round and feel like we cannot plan a single thing b/c our window is from 9 am -9 pm- would be really nice if we could narrow that down a bit!

If your child does Summit AND a Worlds team:

Do you all just STAY in Orlando?

Does it make financial sense to fly down, fly home, and fly back?

So, I haven't been able to find documentation on this anywhere. Are coaches/owners to pick up athlete passes? This is our first year attending D2 and parents are asking if THEY can pick of their athlete's badges since the coaches are getting there later than athletes.
IMO, parents and athletes picking up their passes sounds like insanity...but I want to ensure we're providing accurate info!

Also - any additional tips for commuters would be GREATLY appreciated since we're staying off property!

Pick up of passes depends on how the coach/owner registered your kid: as individual or part of the team. The owner may have chosen to register your kid in such a way they only the coach can get the passes or they may have registered your kid so that you can pick up the passes. I did remember seeing something that if the bid was a paid bid, then the coach/owner has to get the passes. Ask how your kid was registered. Ask your gym owner/coach if you can individually get your child's passes.

Athletes from our gym were required to be home in time for yesterday’s and today’s practices. Then they all fly back tomorrow in order to be there for Friday afternoon’s practice.

Seriously. Would have been cheaper to rent a gym for a couple hours on Orlando and do practices there!

Maybe. On the plus side, it did allow all of those kids, though, to go to school Tuesday, Wednesday, and some went today. To have high school kids missing 8 straight days of school is a lot, and that's how many they would've missed had they stayed straight through.

Yeah. That is truancy territory in some states. If you're a senior it's AP Exam season as well and close-ish to finals.

I feel like only virtual/homeschool people can really get away with staying in Orlando that long. And even then you still need to be doing school during the week (because online still has assignments/classes/work/due dates.)

Unless you're one of those people who lies to school and tells attendance you have a medical appt./funeral. That only works for a few days (and also an entirely different thread/topic.)
