I'm sad too. My daughter was interviewed and I can't even watch it because I don't have a flocheer account. Bad enough they lock up the performances, but the interviews after?!

Also FloCheer removed videos from an OFFICIAL GYM ACCOUNT I saw (I think it was JTV/CEA.) He had to intersperse routine clips with backstage interviews because he could not post the full routine. From a gym whose owner allows him to take videos.

Hopefully they’ll air the interviews on ESPN or something when Worlds gets broadcasted.

I’ll update this thread (or the May one at this point) after I’m sure Flo won’t remove the videos.
My guess is Worlds will not be televised. NCA was not televised this year and I didn't see the production cameras at Worlds that have been there in the past.

I thought I read somewhere, maybe the packet, that said it would air sometime on CBS???

I think that by restricting these videos from being posted online, Var$ity/USASF is further hindering growth of the sport. Watching Worlds videos on YouTube was one of the main reasons I joined the sport way back when. I feel the same can be said for how others were introduced to competitive cheer. Many people don't really know that competitive cheer exists, so these videos give the "outside" world a view into the world of competitive cheer. I know that there are a variety of other factors that have led to reduction of growth, such as cost, however, simply allowing videos to be posted online is SUCH an easy way to promote our sport.

I cant think of any other sport that isnt normally broadcasted on tv that wouldnt allow video of any form... Obviously allstar has grown over the years, but what company sits there and doesnt want any form of video or documentation being released unless someone is willing to pay for it

You are absolutely right. This industry as a whole is very short term goal/profit oriented. Many of us are seeing the gradual decline in numbers but the powers that be are making their profits and aren't looking towards the future.

Absolutely GAGGED by Brandon Fire. Worlds is so fun, but the Summit is even more interesting to me. BSB will a long time if they are producing this at the junior level.

Has anyone come across small or medium senior videos from Worlds? I cannot find LL or Generals, and can only find TG Lady Lags from medium... and that's strange!

Yes. I've seen day or day 2 videos of LL and Gens. There is a day 1 video of TGLJ from this year.
