THANK YOU.

I'm not sure what to say about that routine.

I would've liked it more with actual music from Wicked. The theme was clever but it's lost without the music. An actual Wicked mix would've been an absolute dream. Darn this music rule!

The girl in green was a tad distracting mainly because I was constantly checking to see if she was opposite of Glinda. (Though her technique was very nice.) I cannot imagine painting myself green for competition or having my flyer be green as they roll around on my $350 uniform. But it looks like the athletes had fun.

Yeah, the spreadsheet also says express! And that was updated directly after awards I think.

I read that they had an injury on Wednesday, and put in an ineligible crossover. Which makes CA and Rockstar tie for summit champs! I’m a sucker for first place ties. So many happy kids!

What sucks is there was a team that didn’t make finals because of them as well.

My only thing is honey if you're GREEN from head to toe or in an ENTIRELY different pink uni, your technique better be flawless.

Everyone will notice every little tumble touch, horrible jump, etc. I can't say I would have volunteered to be her at that age!

Also: the paint and the integrity of the stunt. Is it slippery when sweaty? I would hate for green paint to cause a BF.

Just commenting to say how proud I am of the open 4 I am on! We practiced once every week at max, sometimes taking weeks off (once even going a month without practicing in March) and still hit two perfect 0 routines! We got 8th day one and 4th day two and we were .03 away from bronze in a division 24 teams deep!

Are you on Rust? We watched you guys and loved your routine, super entertaining!! Congrats on your success :)

Thoughts on full / almost full team participation in skills vs most or majority. To me it seemed like teams with full participation did better. It just looks better IMO, even if you have some in the back that maybe don't have the best technique.

I will say that the competition at the senior level 4 teams was fierce. So many teams hit zero both days and placements were soooo close. We were in Medium coed 4.2 and came in second by just .3. The difference of just someone dancing a little more. Legs together in tumbling or pointed toes. I will say that there was great friendship and good vibes between our teams-there are prob less than a dozen teams within the whole nation in our division and a Cali girl came up to my Kiddo and hugged her and said how well her team did and that they looked up to them as a team. So nice to see that.

ill give credit to the kid who painted herself green all season.
although i couldnt physically focus on anything in the routine but her, i wonder if any judges over the season made a note or comment of that in their score sheets.

Most of the season it was just her face that was green, so it may not have been as distracting.
