I've made my stance on COVID and masks known in the COVID threads ad nauseum but if every single thread about cheer turns into COVID discussion I will cry. Pls can we not?

It is very sad. Getting invited to majors is amazing and could be a once in a lifetime for some of these athletes. Very sad it was taken away from them.

Yes. Happily the pace seems to have picked up a little. Technology wise this seems pretty good so far!

For those not watching:

1. This is weird.
2. This was my first time seeing Aqua this season. Impressed as usual.
3. That LLightning uni does not translate to the floor very well. It washes everyone out.
4. Is that awkward "10 second warning" announcement a new covid thing?
5. Coed Elite has really stepped up choreo and stunt/tumbling difficulty to compete well with the division. Once it hits, it's going to to compete well.
6. Am I understanding this: You are either virtual from your gym or from whatever in person event you're doing this weekend?

*Definitely not a hit fest if you're just now tuning in. I think the only hit zero has been Lady Lightning.
*Midnight's video had distracting background noise: almost like the coaches were super close to the camera.

SSX was hitting SO HARD til that PYR BF. Their tumbling looks great though!

I'm not sure if the athletes on BSB are real. They're holograms. The stunts do not move an inch. Not a toe in a jump out of place ever.

This was my 1st time seeing LJ and they seemed so tired. Lots of "tired" mistakes like preps in pyramid. It is a COVID year though, so it makes sense that they may not have stamina yet due to lack of reps. I also can't figure out if their elite is really that chaotic or if it just needs cleaning up? I know circular stunts are the cool thing but I couldn't make sense of what was supposed to be happening.

THOSE POLES ON THE FLOOR AT SOT SCARE ME. THEY ALSO ARE IN THE WAY.

How does one accurately score when a pole is literally in front of an entire stunt group? Solid hit though.

Medium sized F5 is going to have to grow on me.

ACE WARRIORS has disco themed music. THEY BETTER NOT DO A THEMED UNI/PROP. I AM STILL RECOVERING FROM THE 19/20 FABRIC THING.

Not many hits tonight. I think the only so far have been: LL, SOT Royalty, and BSB. Hopefully that changes!
