The most important law: the Fierceboard law of Relativity = I think I'm funny but someone else doesn't agree or is outright offended (more often than not just misunderstood)

Sometimes its safe to add a [humor] tag or in my case, the underutilized [sarcasm] tag

Wow!! What an exciting and fun competition!! Congrats to all the teams, because regardless of the place you took, what I saw this weekend was thousands of determined athletes who have dedicated themselves to training and really worked hard to go out there and make magic happen!

It is soooo inspiring to watch all of you young athletes showing incredible talent, endurance and determination each time you take the floor. As cheer parents, we sometimes forget how awesome that is. We sometimes forget how hard ALL OF YOU train. Each of you should be proud, because you have set your mind to a goal and each of you went after that with all of your heart. IMHO, there were no losers this weekend... not a single one. And the best part of it all, is that I was able to go watch all of you display your talents and dedication!

Make no mistake... it's the ONLY reason I would drive 32 hours round trip, sit through stressful hair curling and cheer makeup, drag my tired ole behind back and forth through 3 competition halls for an entire day, end then endure an awards ceremony that was longer than the last King Kong movie!!

We, the parents, thank all of YOU! Each of you made it one heck of a special weekend!!!!!!

Thank YOU for reminding of us of why we do what we do!

There are no crossovers at worlds.

I would think the Suns roster is set by getting the Bid and I am sure they listed some of the Starlites as there alternites as they can nolonger compeate as a team at worlds and they were on the floor in Indy where the recived the bid. That is just a smart move and a plus to WC that they will have what equates to 36 alternates to their World Teams

The Stars Roster is Set in May as well

I am sure that O's roster will be set by this weekend as well

Sorry about that meant alternates!

Max of 10 substitutions total. 7 Substitutions have to have competed with the same program at the bid winning event, up to 3 do not. You can also list up to 3 alternates not exceed your 10 total so. . .

If you put 7 substitutions and 3 alternates on your Worlds roster (smart person might make sure to have a base, backspot, and a flier) and someone gets hurt, the alternate takes their place.

If you max out with 10 subs then someone from your original team gets hurt, no one can sub even if they meet eligibility rules because you already maxed out with 10 subs. You'd have to compete 1 person down
I am pretty sure that this is not true your subs do not have to be any where near the competition just on your roster as an alternate.

Here's the link to the Worlds Information Packet. http://usasf.net.ismmedia.com/ISM2//Worlds Documents /2011 Cheer Worlds_Registration Packet.pdf

Page 4, center column has all the information about substitutions. Here is the quote about substituions:
"A substitute must be a regular paid participant from another team at the same gym and must have competed “on the floor” with that team from that gym at the same event where the bid was awarded. All substitutes must meet the same eligibility requirements as the original
team that was awarded a bid (i.e. age, etc.)."

Here is the quote about alternates:
"Of the 10 possible substitutes, one to three of those 10 may be alternates. Alternates are registered members of the same team’s gym where the bid was received. Alternates do not
have to be rostered or in attendance at the Worlds bid qualifying event where the bid was received. Any athlete that has competed with another team from another
gym (Primary Gym) or has been registered with the USASF as an athlete member from another gym (Primary Gym) , during the same 2010 – 2011 competition season, will have to have a USASF Gym Release Waiver"

Let's just say, I'm pretty sure the only person that fully understands the crossover rule in any situation is Courtney Pope. Because everyone already knows that she is the only person that has ever used a crossover at any cheerleading event in the history of forever. True fact, look it up. lolsmileyface told me it anyway, so you don't even have to look it up.

P.S. I totally heard that every time the stars or F5 girls passed a cheer extreme girl they had to bow on their knees and say "Popeinites, ruler of all things teal and gold, I am not worthy!". I totally saw it telepathically with my own two eyes 375 miles away when I was eating breakfast cereal with a fork but I'm not trying to start any drama or anything. I just wanted to let everyone know that it did, in fact, happen. It's so not just a rumor!

You're supposed to add the [sarcasm] or [humor] tag or someone might take you seriously

What if I want them to take me seriously, Sharkdad? Whoever said controversy and argument is a bad thing has obviously never been to my house. :)

Back to our scheduled programming: A Senior Elite girl TOTALLY gave an FCA girl a "look". I think we should exile her to New Jersey so she can learn some manners. She could shadow Jwoww and The Situation or something.

This just made my entire morning... (Now off I go to clean up the coffee I spit out when laughter burst from me)

I don't believe a word of this. Everyone knows you eat breakfast cereal with your bare hands.
