I know there were a looot more teams this year but the setup was terrible compared to last year.
It seems like the area that was used for the apparel store and all that could have housed the second arena? It was such a hassle going up and down the escalators. And that space was a complete waste.
Also, it seems like it would be a huge distraction to go from being completely in the zone at warmups then having to go back into a huge mob of people? The stage upstairs was kind of terrible too. I don't care if you're a mini 1 or elite level 5, anyone should get to be on the big flashy stage. Honestly, it can kind of help you perform sometimes too. Like it can just pump you up.
Ugh a little disappointed but I still love Athletic

Stars were always going to Cheer Limited, no bid chasing!! So Yeah that's not the issue!

I wasn't suggesting that they weren't going to Cheer Ltd lol but if there's speculation that some "chasing" might happen..that's what I'm talkin' about.

I completely agree, the first thing i said when i walked into the competition was i HATE this setup, there was no where to sit during the level 5 teams, especially during shooting stars, so most people got stuck in the way back next to the doors and could barely see. As for the ballroom, it was so small in there i didnt even go in to see teams i wanted to see, i simply watched them online after day one. I feel like last year was a better set up all around and hope that they do something similar to that next year

SETUP WAS HORRIBLE. After level 2 awards there was literally a mob of people and little youth kids trying to find their parents. It was a little scary at one point. And it didn't help when some teams decided to have team meetings or take pictures right in the middle of the hallway.

I was standing next to the judges table for Stars yesterday and STILL could barely see. It was really nice to see everyone pulling for them though<3 But the energy in the ballroom just wasn't there. I didn't like it at alll

Setup was horrible!!! J.W two of the teams I coach won, and when I went back and read the scoresheets there was not one positive comment. They were very negative. If a person who did not know results read them they would think we bombed. Are scores were good, but our comments, not so much ... Anyone else in the same boat or am I the only one?!? Super happy my teams won, but would have liked to see something positive on there!!!

What's really unfortunate is that anyone could make this kind of statement without knowing the reason behind some quitting. What's even worse is another post with the names of the girls. This is not kind to those girls or to the Shooting Stars as a whole. If Fierceboarders keeping digging you might find out things that you didn't want to know. Let's just respect WC and leave this alone. There has to be more to there lack of success this season than quitters especially since stunts were falling before the other girls quit.
I'm just saying who would quit a 3x world champ team? I don't know why they quit, and yeah if it were money problems or something then that's reasonable. But it's wrong to quit mid season, it effects the entire team. Honestly, I don't care who quit or their names or why. And obviously 2 girls quitting shouldn't make 5(?) stunts fall. Wasn't implying that. :)
