Love the uniforms. See people: simple, clean uniforms and makeup LOOK GREAT! Also, no bows.

They look like ATHLETES!!!!!

I agree!! Well except for the bow part - anytime I think of Louisville cheer (especially when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s) I see those beautiful red bows! I missed that today!

Overall I think this is a great step for cheer as a sport. I do have a lot of questions that I believe will be addressed by the time the next game comes around - but overall I like the concept. Can't wait for the next one! Go Cards!

I agree...The NCATA developed these uniform standards for college sport last year. Glad to see everyone embracing their pioneering spirit!

I was following on Twitter, and it was difficult to follow. The description of a game on the USA Cheer website explained that two teams compete at the same time in the 1st-3rd quarters, but I wasn't sure how that would work for a tri-meet. Also, I'd like to see a detailed description of the scoring.

WOW these uniforms look just like the ones NIKE made specially for the University of Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling team THREE years ago. I wonder if there are any copyright issues with the pattern? Does anyone know? But yes, I LOVE the uniforms. No more tucking your stuff back in after a tumbling pass.
