I like that the convention center gives me free refills on my soda all day  (At least they did at NCA Classic). I have been looking forward to going back for the neverending Dr. Pepper fountain.
Of course this is when someone will post that I don't get my free refills, forcing me to smuggle my own in.

AHH I LOVE THE ARENA!! It is my favorite part of the weekend to watch my kids run to see what it looks like!! I can not wait!!

do they have perfered seating at this competition?

The priority seating situation at Dallas isn't the best. In the "Halls" you kind of are off the side for the most part. In the arena, you are up in the stands, not on the floor. But in the arena...not really a bad seat in the house!

Did any one else notice that all level 5 and 6 as well as the Special Needs Team as will be competing both days in the Main Arena this year in Dallas. They will not be in Hall A or B

Special Needs competed in the arena both days last year also. (daughter's team). It was so nice. The only downside was that it was quite the hike from the practice area to the arena for some of the more physically challenged kids. But worth it. So worth it, my daughter is already packed and can't wait to get on that plane. 2 weeks from today can't come soon enough for her.

I love having level 5 in the arena both days because I think it has the best seating (not a bad seat in there) and because I personally thought of the level 5's being the arena was something to look forward to. But that's just me. :)

What is up with them having small senior 4 a (20 kids) and small senior 4 b (19 kids or less) that's dumb! I could see maybe having one for 16 kids or less but 19?

I think they picked the numbers based off of it being a relatively even split. Meaning that there are probably 8 to 10 with 20 kids and 8 to 10 with less than 20 kids

Not a good idea...the "Seat Hoarders" will be out in full force in the arena. Hopefully security will be just as good as they were last year.

Despise the Seat Horders and greatly appreciate it when event security helps with this. It makes it very nice. Too often event producers are so worried about the teams and the coaches that they forget those of us in the seats are often the ones that are shelling out all the money!

My team is competing in the arena. can anyone give any insight to what its like performing there? I was in hall a last year...
