day 2 they ran better according to everyone I've talked to
less deductions, yet they ended up behind 2 teams with more deductions.
politics much?
but congratulations go out anyways, they've definitely pulled through their injuries at the start of the season and are starting to perform this routine like I have had the pleasure of seeing them perform before the season.

also! CF Jags small senior ended up placing 8th out of 11! not too bad with them missing most of their main tumblers!

I watched day 2 and felt it was MUCH better then their day 1 run. I don't get it and won't even pretend to. Sigh.

chyeeaaa69 where do you cheer at?

I don't right now
looooong story but I'll be brief
became interested in cheer in 07, did high school cheer for half of 07-08, was going to go to Cheerforce Wolfpack for 08-09, injured my wrists, took the summer off, did high school for a bit longer, never competed with them, coach knew nothing about cheerleading and wasn't exactly safe. last season I wanted to take a year off of any cheer, to get my tumbling back etc. and right before tryouts at PCT that I was going to for this season, I overrotated on a trampoline, landing on my stomach, injured my lower back, and I'm still in the process of finding out what is wrong, however my back has not bothered me like it used to in a while, so I'm contemplating finally making my way back into the sport!

Oh that is rough!! Good Luck! Take care of your body first though, it's the only one you got! ;) Luckily in these times, you can cheer long past high school if you want! :)

hahah yes that's the plan! thankfully with my late birthday, even though I'm turning 18 this year, I'm senior eligible for a bit longer, so I'm not forced to go Open quite yet!

Does anyone know if there's a video from their run day 2? I've seen the day 1 run but I'm really interested in seeing how they ran day 2.

i'll be uploading it private to youtube ASAP
:)
they did SO much better, and many girls said they didnt even recognize it was them! the best they've done all season according to them

It's probably the best run I have seen them have in major competition, aside from Nationals! They were wicked on Day 2. Not a 5th place performance either in my humble opinion.

Cheer Evolution is giving out 12 bids and currently there are 15 teams vying for bids in Ontario so this will be a very interesting competition.

You've missed:
Durham Cheer Elite in IOC5
Power Cheer Calgary in OAG6
Both teams hoping to get their bid at Provincials.

The bottom line is that not everybody is going to get a bid at this event and the only other "close" event offering bids is in Quebec - so we may see Ontario teams head that way to try and get a bid.

The UCC small limited 5 team is the team that has competed Senior Open 5 in the early part of the season correct? Denzel, didn't we compete again them at CFTC? Hmmmm.

Re: Team Canada. The teams this year are really, really solid. We (the coaches) are very excited to work with everyone involved. The selection process this year was very difficult and while you may or may not agree with the athletes on the roster - rest assured that these are the strongest teams we've ever fielded.

Re: CCS, they looked great at Cheersport but while they had a great run day two so did the other teams and on the Cheersport score sheet this routine didn't satisfy the way the others did. On the World's scoresheet CCS will do fantastically.

Good luck to everybody going for their bids in the next little while. Wondering if we should do a CANADA shirt again for Worlds?

Good luck to all Canadian teams competing in Dallas this weekend! I wish you safe flights and clean routines!
