I get what you all are saying. And I admittedly got noticeably excited when I saw my CP would be in the Milkhouse both days. So I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with Josten's. Just a lot of people were talking about it not feeling the same as when you "walk around the globe" in the Milkhouse. I just thought maybe if the USASF spent some $$ on making Josten's "feel" the same as the Milkhouse maybe it would be better. Cause let's face it, there's no way they can fit every division and every team in the Milkhouse so someone has to compete in Josten's. So what I'm thinking is, let's think of some ways to make the most of it. What could the USASF do (cause we all know they read this board, wink wink), to make it the best experience possible for every team in every division?

Seriously, a great idea!! I feel if the Josten Center was revamped to looked nearly identical to the Milkhouse a lot of the complaining would stop. Will competing in the Josten Center ever be the same experience as competing in the Milkhouse? No, but we can try! And as for the crowd in Josten not being the same that's really up to us to heighten the excitement in that arena :)

I think a good comparison between Milkhouse and Jostens is like the difference between flying 1st class and coach. Its the same destination, but some of you will have a better experience reaching it.
Ha ha...this is great!

If it's any silver lining at all to folks, I think it was mentioned by someone earlier, that small limited was in the Milkhouse last year on Sat. I think I would much rather choose Jostens both days, than go from Milkhouse and then to Jostens; because I heard first hand how flat it felt to come out Sun compared to Sat. JC somehow feels like some kind of blackhole for energy.

I think disappointment about competing in Jostens is justified. I am happy that my daughter's division is competing in the Milkhouse this year. I don't know why but when I am at Jostens I have a feeling that it's used for cattle shows the rest of the year.

I could be wrong, but I bet next year small ltd will get the Milkhouse both days and other divisions will see Jostens both days. Who knows really. I can tell you one thing, my rear end will be sitting in the JC on Sunday for AT LEAST the top 10-15 teams. That's one of the toughest and entertaining divisions we have at worlds. :D

They could at least building the stage out 10 feet. move the floor to the front of it. Cut the back drop in half. Put the globe behind the back drop like this |||.O.||| The O is the globe. The ||| is the backdrop. and the . is where people can walk out. all on the same level stage. No ramp needed.

No Expensive and it revamps it a little bid. My Next issue with jostens is the seating. Those bleachers suck and are too far away. Maybe rent some bleachers and put them on either side of the judges table.

Finally.... it would probably be EASIER to film in the Jostens center logistically then at the milkhouse... Yet they chose the milkhouse, therefore, everyone is aware that MilkHouse > Jostens.

I think the USASF needs to take the Southwest Airlines approach where "Everyone flies first class" If you are going to use airplane anologies - When you fly first class - You have to pay more... Which Small Limited is one of the biggest divisions so you would think they bring in a lot of revenue.

I agree that Worlds is Worlds and we should be greatful. As a competitor, I have ONLY been in the Jostens center to compete. It didnt feel like Worlds. I got a bigger thrill competing at Cheersport and Jamfest Indy then I did at Worlds in Jostens. Thats not the feeling I want my kids to have - but either way, Im happy my team is going to Worlds and we will still do our best!

I think if they put the right 'love' into the Jostons center then it would be fine. They need more bleachers, some atmosphere... that kinda stuff.

It is like I said with NCA a while back: The atmosphere makes NCA. Tis true for Worlds.

I agree. If you make it a little more visually appealing, I don't think there will be as big of an issue.
