I've read a lot about people washing their shoes in a machine. Does it make them fall apart or ruin the leather? I have the new varsity shoes, part leather part fabric and they look a bit gross after a few months. I'm not sure how to clean the fabric part. Advice?!

I have the phoenix and machine wash them all the time and they are still going stron after a year

Machine wash is fine as long as it's on the delicate cycle. I find this helps my shoes not get so rugged after a couple washes. Also spot treat on the fabric before you put them in the wash. Try OxyClean and scrub with a toothbrush, weird I know buy it works! You can even dry them in the dryer!

i've thrown my cp's in the wash several times. i don't know the model of nfinity's they are, but they're also leather/fabric. after a year now, the leather is looking a tiny bit worn, but they look tons better a bit worn, then how they look when they're dirty.

I've washed evolutions and phoenixes ( this pair for 2 yrs!!) and they both held up fine. with bleach even:)

Thanks for all the suggestions! Few more questions:

Should I put them in a laundry bag or pillowcase or just chuck 'em in? And then how long do they take to dry? I'm a bit scared of putting them in the dryer, I don't have a backup pair if something goes terribly wrong

I wash cp's all the time. But I never, EVER dry them in the dryer. Let them air dry. It helps drying time if you can take the insoles out before you wash them.
Spot Shot and a nail brush works well, too. It's made for carpets but has never hurt the satin part of her Nfinitys.

My cp has the Nfinity Passion. We were told by an Nfinity rep to only wash them via the dishwasher and to never, ever place them in the dryer; however, I'm sure if you wash them on delicate or the hand wash cycle, a washing machine will be fine. I would just be extremely cautious.

I think, (I'm not completely positive) that if the shoe is fabric that you can use clorox bleach pen! I'm not positive though!!
