So proud of Tsunami this weekend ... never more proud to be a Maryland Marlins parent. THEY WENT ... Cheer Tech Paid Bid and had 4 amazing and wonderful performances. THEY WON ... not the Gold, but the hearts of many/thank you. Wishing Brea a speedy recovery<3 What an experience for my daughters senior year ... PRICELESS<3

Congrats to you girls, amazing performances, all 4 and getting #4, you showed pure determination, heart and soul! I see a very bright future for you!

It was when i landed my double full in my second pass =/
And thank you everyone for all of your support. It means so much!!
BREA?! IS THIS YOU?! Hahahah :)

Very happy you've read all this though! Stay strong and best wishes for a SPEEDY recovery!

Day 1 i was in the bathroom when Tsunami was going on the first time and i got out in time to see their stunts on a little tv screen then everything started going black and i ran into the arena and the lights were off! I was INCREDIBLY impressed with tsunami for going back out there and hitting flawlessly and impressing everyone in the arena!
Tsunami is a force to be reckoned with and i think they are amazing role models for other cheerleaders!

Do you know the extent of the injury yet? Tsunami did AMAZING this weekend. You guys made it through more than most could handle without a single complaint. You have a lot of fans out there, keep doing what you're doing.. You'll get there!

Tsunami did MD Marlins proud this weekend. The coaching staff as a whole is so proud to be part of this, the ones that came to watch and the ones still at home. I'm so glad I was here to see it all, what a journey! The girls were true warriors, and I'm pretty sure I cried for a few hours. The whole field house chanting "brea" made me bawl like a baby. So amazing!

Brea is in good spirits, last pass of her senior year at worlds.... At least it wasn't sooner than today! No definite, but could be ACL, she will find out soon.

T-S-U let's go TSU!

No not %100 sure yet but they think its a torn ACL.

Brea, I love you! You are honestly one of the most talented athletes I have ever had the pleasure of watching over the years. Your injury at finals broke my heart, but knowing what a warrior you are (YOU ARE SPARTA!), I can't wait to see what the future holds for you both with cheerleading and life in general. You are true champion many times over.

TSUNAMI! I can only say thank you. Not many get to see true inspirational moments in action up close and personal once in life. I had it 4 times this weekend and I feel as if I experienced something so special and intimate. You girls made me realize that adversity brings out the true colors that are in the heart of champions. I will never forget this last weekend. I have never been a part of something that was so raw with emotion and heart. I think each and every one of you made me a better person for allowing me to spend it with you this weekend.

As a Dad of two cp's on this team I must say that I could not be more proud of this teams performance at Worlds. At times it was almost surreal what was happening with the lights going out in prelims and then Brea's injury in finals and wondering just how much adversity can any one team handle in this environment. The emotions and choas we parents felt by being shuffled in and out of the viewing area and not knowing if or when they would next perform was nothing in comparison with the emotions that were going on backstage. To come out 4 times in two days and put up 31 stunts with just a bobble after struggling to hit much of the year and retooling the routine due to Brea's injury whereby losing one of our strongest flyers, point dancer, and major contributor in the pyramid in minutes (felt like hours) was nothing short of phenominal. Not to mention the owner/coach/mother having to deal with the emotions of tending to her injured daughter and at the same time having to pull the team together to perform once again for the fourth time was in my opinion the best coaching performance of the entire weekend. I cannot express my gratitude to each and every person in the Milkhouse on Sunday for the support that was shown this team coming back out for the 4th time. My oldest, who was competing for the very last time after 10 years in all-star, and with tears screaming down her face immediately after...said and I quote "it does not matter whether we finish first or last but when we walked out for the 4th & last time and saw the entire milkhouse stand and cheer for us & their fallen teammate, was without a doubt the greatest experience and most memorable moment of my entire 10 years as a cheerleader." I doubt any good Hollywood screenwriter could have scripted this any better and as a CheerDad I have to agree with my daughters assessment as it will go down as my fondest memory in all the years as well and yes, it was enough to make a grown man cry. Tsunami... round 2 did rise to the occasion and was an inspiration to many!
