I had a much different Worlds experience than some of you.

I got there on Day 1 and Day 2 at 7am, found the most amazing end row seat and sat there with my CP. We cheered on every team. We happened to sit around F5 fans and they too cheered, screamed, clapped, and stomped their feet fo WCSS and F5! Never ONCE did I see any unruly fans.

We brought snacks and my CP at mid-day went to buy a hoagie at the concession. She was back within 10 minutes. Later that day I got a Wetnzel dog and other things, was back in my seat in 10 minutes. Didn't have a problem finding food. On Day 2 after Large Senior Finals we walked into the restaurant at ESPN, ordered food and found a table that had a plug for charging our phones. We had a great time.

I will say to those who complained about security. I sat close enough to the stage that I was able to watch staff on the green carpet. They were extremely nice to all. Some teams/fans wanted to walk across the green mat to the seats along the side of the mat EVEN WHEN TEAMS WERE ON THE MAT PERFORMING!!!! That was totally disrespectfuly to security and the team performing. These people whined and cried that they couldn't walk past the yellow line. Please! The security told them they had to go up the steps then back down the other side but they gave security such prissy attitudes that they couldn't walk along the green floor on the side. Unbelievable.

What a great experience we had with the staff, fans from other gyms, the food, and watching all the performances!!

Anybody follow USASF on twitter??? They just sent a tweet 'What are you most looking forward to for next years Worlds?' Some of you might want to tweet back and chime in!!

oh i completely agree. it really disappointed me that i saw some teams being so disrespectful to the staff. what even made me a little more aggrivated was that i got in the hp field house at 6:45 and got perfect front row seats, and then people would come along sitting on my feet and asking to sit on my lap. uh no? i got my butt up to sit here, you go away. but other than crowd control, i say great weekend:)

Does anyone think that the judges still give the top gyms higher scores just because of their gym name? Not their top level 5 team, but their 2nd or 3rd level 5 team? They still somehow happen to make it into finals and maybe even top 10! Don't get me wrong, they are still good, just not as good as a lot of the teams they beat. Just sayin!

MY opinion about the top gyms scoring higher. A lot of the top gyms have a lot of resources and a lot of coaches. And therefore may be able to pick up on the scoresheet requirements better than a smaller gym. In addition, there are a lot of people that are able to give input.

If you can name specifics i'm sure all of us can combat them.

I agree. We got there at 7am and was about 5 rows back on the aisle which was nice to get in an out of. Since I was on the aisle I saw alot more. People sitting or standing in the aisle, blocking people's views that were sitting in seats on the other side of the aisle!! And then when security came they'd sit on the stars block people from getting up and moving around. Unbeliveable.

Those are the same people complaining about not finding a set (getting there at 6:45am-7am like you and I) and

It amazed me how many times someone asked to sit in CP's seat while she ran off to the bathroom right before Large Senior All-Girls finals. They gave ME attitude as if I was saving a seat. Are you kidding me???? A bathroom break?!?!

I say the problem this weekend wasn't Disney, the security, etc. IT WAS ALOT OF THE FANS who expected to waltz in and find a seat 5 minutes before.

we got there at least an hour prior to the teams we wanted to watch and still could not find seats. This happened both days and in both the milkhouse and the jostens center. This year was by far the most crowded I have seen the Jostens center in the past 4 years. I would almost say it was worse in Jostens bc of the issue with one way in and one way out from the seating area. I walked down 4 steps and turned around to see that I had gotten seperated from my group and turned to go back up the 4 steps and was stopped and told I had to go all the way down, make my way through the crowd, up the other set of stairs and then fight through the crowd to get back to the exact place I was trying to get to, only 4 steps away! I understand crowd control is important, but come on, that was just a bit ridiculous. It was obvious to the security person that I was simply stopping to find my group(which involved children who I really did not want to leave there in the crowd while I took my little tour of the crowd downstairs) and not purposely trying to ignore the rules.

I would just like to say that a certain team filled an entire row with their back packs in the section to the left of the floor (looking at it). I went to go move one of the bags over so i could sit. and a mom flipped out at me and said (direct quote) "Don't you dare touch their bags, they just went to warm ups"......
Excuse you?! warm ups to performance time is about an hour. you want to leave 2 entire rows completely empty for that long?
Needless to say i sat on the seat with the bag in it but didn't move it while the mother continued to yell. Then when I saw a closer seat, I moved up.

I wasn't there...so I'm just asking. But are you saying its OK to sell more tickets than seats? And that its the FANS fault that they thought having a ticket that they paid $25 (!!!) for meant they would get a seat? I hardly think that's an unreasonable expectation for a fan to have. And my second question is this: what would you be saying if everyone did get there at 6:30 AM? Wouldn't there still be the same problem - more ticket holders than seats? How would everyone showing up at the same time HELP? And how is this NOT USASF and Disney's fault?

So correct me if I'm wrong...but your "solution" for the problem of there being more ticketholders than seats is for everyone to show up at the same time?

For the record...we always describe this as "the Super Bowl of Cheerleading". Well, the NFL sold more tickets than seats to this year's Super Bowl and made the extra people watch on a screen. They ended up settling out of court and giving each of those people the following: free tickets to a future super bowl, hotel and airfare for that super bowl, and cash equaling the face value of their tickets.

Hmmmm...something to think about, for those of you who couldn't get in and had to watch on a screen. Not sure I'd be OK with "Well You should have gotten there earlier."

and to add ^^^^ , it is near impossible to track the number of tickets compared to the number of seats available as that # is always fluctuating... fans move from milkhouse to jostens, or grab a bite to eat, or head to a park for a few hours between the teams they came to watch, and cheerleaders themselves come into the stands to watch when not in warmups and competeing.
