For all of y'all - bellybutton piercings are easy! I am THE biggest wimp when it comes to needles (seriously, I have a neuro thing that makes me pass out whenever I see one. lol.) and I was fine. It'll feel kinda like the piercing is pinching for a few days, but then the pain should subside. They do take FOREVER to heal, though.

Andddd they hurt like a you-know-what when you catch baskets. Cradles/full/double downs never bothered mine.

I would also like to know if the tragus piercing hurts!!

i got my tragus pierced like a month ago (i think 5 weeks exactly). the piercing itself is not bad at all (& i would say my pain tolerance is medium..lol) but the healing process sucks. i couldnt sleep on that side for like a week and it still sometimes hurts. i mess with it all the time when i put earbuds in it really hurts and it doesnt really stay in that ear but i can like kindof balance it if im just sitting here but it wont stay if im working out or something. and they told me it would take 6months-a year to fully heal but that i could change it after 3 weeks and it still really hurt and bled when i tried to change it today (unsuccessfully) but mine is a curved barbell with a ball on each end..i know everyone wears the ones that are flat on the back like lip rings they probably would be more earbud-friendly but i just assumed he would pierce it with that since thats what everyone wears in them but he didnt give me an option. but if i could go back i would have asked him to use one of those instead so you might want to ask about that if you get it done

Piercings: Ears and my nose!
Tattoos: Not yet! hehe my mom would kill me if she saw this lol

i've always been the type where if i'm gonna get a tattoo, it better really mean something to you. well, i think i've found my tattoo :) i dont know where i want to get it yet or which one. bu itst from the song swim by jacks mannequin. i am absolutely in love with jacks mannequin, and anytime life is getting the best of me, i listen to this song.
im real big on music, and jacks mannequin has my heart. i did a project on his music senior year, and realized just how good his lyrics are. for the first one its just the swim part, not his name lol

thats a good idea. I'm the same way about mine, I draw all of mine and they all have some meaning for me.

IMO, I don't think pain should be a reason not to get a tattoo. If it's something you REALLY want and is meaningful to you, then get it. You should be able to get through the pain to have it permanently on you. I really want a tattoo behind my ear, like on my neck but I don't know what I would get.
And whoever said have the tattoo artist draw out what you want on a piece of paper then tape it onto your skin, where you want it, is such a good idea! My mom did that and after 5 years she finally got it!

Good for you! I was just about to reply to your previous post that no one is too "fat" to get their belly button pierced! You should do what makes you happy. :)

As someone who pierces for a living, in my opinion once you reach 200 pounds you should not be getting your belly button pierced.

If this is for health reasons(I don't know a lot about piercings), fine, but who are you to stop someone from doing something that will make them happy?

Yeah it easily gets infected in between the folds of fat (that sounds so mean but Im not trying to be) and most of the bigger people I know where comfortable clothing such as yoga pants and they tend to attract more lint which easily gets belly buttons infected as well as they where usually one piece bathing suits and with those types of bathing suits the bellybutton keeps the moisture in there and causes it to get infected....
