We were discussing in another thread about the creation of a Not a Cheer Mom, cheer mom club. All are welcome! I thought that rules need to laid out. Feel free to add you own!:)

1. Under no circumstances will you speak negatively about someone else's child.

2. If you have an issue with another parent, coach etc, you will discuss said issue with that person privately. Not after you've asked the opinion of everyone in the waiting room.

3. Remember what the saying is about booty u ming.

4. You must refrain from putting cryptic status updates on Facebook. Those type of updates are meant to create drama and gossip. NACM club members will also ignore such messages.

5. When someone else's child gets a skill, you will exude nothing but joy for that child.

Only after you've made an appointment.

OOOHHH, assuming!! Booty u ming! :D

7. You will not interrupt Sally's mom's proud moment with "WELL SUSIE can do that AND this..."

My favorite post. Ever. Seriously... I love you right now.

I love these rules - especially 1 and 4. I'm totally IN for this club. I hope I get to count as a "founding member" since I coined the phrase Not a cheer mom cheer mom...:p

I'm off to the gym. Hopefully I won't be posting 27 more rules that I think of as I meet the moms tonight! (first practice with new team...)

I wish I could take credit for that. An admin must have changed it  It's better anyway!

Anytime those three letters come together (independently of any other letters) it gets changed to "booty." See, watch:

booty

Only you won't really be able to tell if I actually typed the word or booty, but let's see what happens when I click "Post Reply..."

Seriously, I amuse myself...

ETA: We're so quick I can still edit this! We are so freakin goooood!

I think it changes automatically if you type out the word and it's separated from the other words. Let's try: booty

ETA: Yup...changed by itself as soon as I hit "Reply"

Edited to add AGAIN: you beat me to it!!!:D

8. When sitting in a group and another person walks into the room, you will acknowledge new person. You will also ask them to join the group. NOT huddle closer together to exclude new person. Just.plain.rude.

YES!!! I definitely did NOT find this happening at the gym on registration day. I felt very welcomed by everyone. Hope it stays that way. I'm pretty chatty...so hopefully I can help with this. :)

@cccheermomx2 gave me a great idea. 12 steps for acceptance of being "That Mom." Maybe it would help me not give a darn and not worry about being a kiss-booty...

-Hi, everyone, I'm Mamarazzi, and I'm one of those Moms. (Now everyone together,) "Hi Mamarazzi."
