All-Star New Uniforms 2011-2012

Ok can't believe no one has said it yet....but is anyone else seeing Marilyn Monroe in the CS uni. WhenI first saw it I died a little because all I could think about was that lovely pink dress with the gigantic bow from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" for non Marilyn fans...the dress from "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend" more specifically.

I did but I thought I'd age myself and the younger fiercest wouldnt get the reference! That was exactly my first thought.

Couldn't you just wear a halter bra/halter sports bra with Blackout's? Is there something I'm missing? Lol serious question though...

My daughter has the ICE gk uni and she just wears a bra with clear straps. I don't understand what the big deal is about what kind of bra to wear...you can get a great bra with clear straps for any body type. You can't see the clear straps on stage...

Saw some of these girls at Mongolian Barbeque the other day lol. Super cute uni, I just wish the name was somewhere on the front of the top instead of just the arm.

Agreed. I really had to get used to F5's uni's when I first saw it since they also don't have a name on their top, but idk about these ones...

I think it depends on how big your boobs are whether it really works or not.

That should be an all-or-nothing thing. With so many sports bra cut-outs right now, the one on the left actually changes the whole look of the top without even trying. I actually like it a little better than the original, lol, but it's not my uni. Just find someone with a bedazzler, put a shine on the straps and bang!- instant second look for your gym's uniform.!

They were deciding between red or black sports bras.. what you see on the right are sports bras as well that picture just happened to have both

In regards to the Cheergyms.com uniform, I feel like the top is too big for the girl. But, I also feel like the skirts are long, and their is not much going on on the chest area of the uni ( too much white ). I do feel like it looks better then what they had in the past, but I am curious to what the full top will look like for the younger girls, thats alot of white!

I'm pretty sure the younger girls have crop tops as well this year.

When I first looked, I totally missed the strap around the neck, and I thought the cutout might expose where the back strap of the bra crosses the torso. Maybe it doesn't. I could very well be mashing uniform cutouts together at this stage. Quite frankly, it looks as if our athletes are five shades of near-nudity at this stage in the game

And to whomever posted about clear straps: they're all fine and dandy for an event at which I am not trying to jump 5 feet in the air, twist, move, wiggle and jiggle. Or basically anything besides some swaying and moderate bopping. If I need it to stay still whilst performing any type of athletic feet, those straps will be digging into my shoulders. Seriously, someone find me somebody fashion-inclined in NYC. I'm opening up a cheer-bra business. I'll call you when I'm rolling in dough.

Vancouver All Stars, has a VERY similar uniform that was new to us last season and what we did was most girls wore regular bras with a clear halter strap with and additional bandeau over top for more support.

For the first competition a lot of us took tensor bandages and tape and taped ourselfs in but by the end of the season we had all taken a regular sports bra and cut/manufactured our own sports bras that couldn't be seen under the uniform.

ohh lord back to bra talk....

Anyway I looooove Cheer Savannah's! I love those colors together though! I dont think they class at all. I remember my 1st grade teacher telling me that and I got really upset.... hahaha
