Stay tight, stay tight, stay tight.!! Stretch every day! Not just at practices. Pull your body positions in the mirror every day.

Most fun way to "stretch" is to floor-fly your favorite team's stunts! Nobody really wants to do repetitive stretching for what seems like hours, but my cp learned a lot of technique and gained a tremendous amount of flexibility by watching youtube vids of Smoed, Top Gun, Shooting Stars, Senior Elite, F5, SSX, Lady Bullets, Super Seniors and on and on, and practicing their stunt sequences. Sounds crazy, but you can see the difference in her dorito chip scorp one year versus her needle the following year...

Your coaches picked you to fly because they believe in you so always remember that! Stunting is a group skill so if something goes wrong it is NOT solely your fault (even if it seems that way). Stretch daily, drink plenty of water, eat right, and believe in yourself and your group. By the time nationals comes around, you will have done the stunt hundreds of times so be confident! You can do it! Good luck!!

Commit to your skills. I.e. if you're gonna do a kick double commit and do it. Don't start to do it and then bail. It's dangerous for you and your stunt group.

This is brilliant advice!

stretch daily! push yourself, and trust yourself, and the people who are under you.
oh and "if you look down, you're coming down" always help me stay tall in the air.
be confident up there. all smiles even if you come down
