agree, after attending majors last week..a TOTALLY NEW competition, i'd have to say much better run than this weekend's show. i meann really, how had can it be??? oh, and the wheeling of a person on a stretcher, in the middle of eye of the storm's performance....i mean doesn't this place have back doors??? That said, eye looked awesome, but i REALLY miss seeing jimmy out on the floor!! Jimbo, if your reading this, we love and miss you!!! <3

Tsunami had a bit of a rough day so if a video emerges it might be taken down...but i could be wrong

I'm not sure what to say about MD States this year. As always, we had a GREAT time seeing and competing with our friends across the state but I have no clue what Coastal was thinking this year by moving to the Convention Center. At least at the 1st Mariner Arena, you were able to see the teams on the stage without standing in the back with the vendors. I seriously had to stand all the way in the back with the vendors in order to see F5. I don't know, really did just seem like piss poor planning. I'm usually a huge fan of this comp.....not so much this year.

Crimson Heat had a very blessed day yesterday, six 1st place finishes (Tiny 1, Youth 2, Junior 4, Senior 1, Senior 4, and Sm Senior 5) and one 2nd place (Mini 1). We also had 3 level Grand Champs, Y2, S1 and S4 (I think). Overall, a very good day for us.

I really like the concept of Maryland States, I just hope Coastal gets it right soon. On a happier note, congrats to Twisters on your placements AND your Highest Score award......you guys were amazing AS ALWAYS. Same goes for Spirit Force and Unique. There were definitely a lot more gyms in attendance this year.

Return to Atlantis uses the convention center every year, it is well run, plenty of seating and a bigger comp. So it wasn't the facility ;)

I said that to one of my coaches yesterday lol and I LOVE Return to Atlantis. I think we're actually going to Return to Atlantis this year =)

The American Masters also uses the convention center and they always have a nice setup so it is definitely not the venue.

You have no idea how much you just made my day! Thank you!!!!:D

I was able to see a couple of your teams and I thought they did a wonderful job! I was also fortunate enough to interact with two of the young ladies on your open 6 team and they were both dolls.

Thank you again! Our Open team has a lot of nice people on it and they like to have fun. Were you by chance taking pictures with them near the entrance? I saw them standing with several Twister girls taking pictures.

No we were in the back at the vendors tables. Good luck to your teams for the rest of the season.

Not a fan of MD State. It was a disaster. Great talent though. Unique, Heat, Twisters, Spirit Force, and other great MD teams had amazing routines. What I don't understand about MD State and maybe some other regional competitions, is how they allow the crossing over. I understand crossing over from level to level, but to have level five athletes cross over to level 1 and 2 is not ok. There has been a lot of cheer chatter about this and hope they implement cross over rules that create true competition among true level teams. There has to be trust in your athletes at thier skilled level.
