Really? 18 teams in Small Senior 5 and it needs to be two divisions? That does not make sense.

At CHEERSPORT Nationals, we split divisions with more than 15 teams. We do this for all divisions from Tiny to World Teams.

One of the things that makes CHEERSPORT so successful, and keeps us as the largest Cheerleading and Dance competition for the 11th year in a row, is that we run on time. By keeping divisions at 15 or less, judging is more accurate and we are able to stay on schedule in all 5 arenas.

I'm just curious??? Why do you split Junior Coed 5 into small and large, but not Junior coed 3 and Junior coed 4????

Read the above post.
I appreciate you trying to answer my question, but the "above post" does not answer it.
They divided Jr Coed 5 in large and small. There are 2 large teams and 4 small. That makes 6 total in Jr Coed 5, yet they were divided up. There are 10 total teams in Jr coed 4, yet they are not divided into large and small. There are 14 teams in Jr coed 3, yet there are also not divided up into large and small.

So, again .... my question is ..... why does jr coed 5 get divided into large and small, but not jr coed 3 & 4, when there are clearly more teams in the 3 and 4 division than in the level 5 division??

My assumption is that they are following the USASF guidelines. I'm guessing that there wouldn't be 2 or more teams in one of the resulting divisions if they did split. There are probably not 2 or more teams under 20 members in those divisions. (or two OVER 20.)

They divide it up when there are 2 or more teams in each division that will be competing in large and small. So for those divisions there must only be 1 large or 1 small team. That's what I'm thinking.

No .... there are atleast 2 large or small in each of those divisions so nobody would be competing against themselves. That's why it doesn't make any sense.

In each of those divisions there are atleast 2 small or 2 large, so nobody would competing alone. That's why I'm confused.

And the same thing happened last year as well. Jr coed 5 was divided but the jr coed 4 was not. And I know that in the Jr coed 4 division last year there were like 3 large teams and 4 small ..... all competing against each other.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question.

I just looked at the schedule again and on that first page they list the division as Small & large Jr coed 3, but when you look at the actual schedule it just says Junior coed 3.
