well can you tell me if my comment is rude? i shouldn't of put it up. its just my opinion and it was an accident when i pushed post. I'm new and did not know how to take it down.

Reminds me of the song...

"no matter how hard you try, you loseee, you loseee"

Sucks kid. Own it. This is a hot topic. It will be buried in thousands of posts soon anyway.

REALLY?!?
USASF created graphs of Do's and Dont's at competition?!
hahahahaha thats all I needed.

Don't arrive at the event without wearing full uniform and hai
r done

Don't arrive wearing sweatpants, pajama bottoms, trendy boots or jewel
ry

Don't speak negatively about other individuals, teams,
or programs

Don't swear or use vulgar l
anguage

Don't use social media to brag, belittle or ridicule any person,
team or program

Don't change into uniform, practice wear or "street clothes" in the stands or hall
s

Don't jump up and down when the 2nd Place Team is called if it isn'
t your Team

Don't overly emphasize the win, with overt displays of exci
tement

Don't demonstrate disrespect by not allowing others their moment of recognition

hahahaha um excuse me, and you are??
what is there going to be competition police now too??
This SERIOUSLY put the cherry on top for me.

If I had one more year to still cheer I would brake every single one of these rules.
I'm sorry "governing body",
you dont pay my fees
you didnt work for my skills
so no USASF, you do not have ANY right to say "Dont Arrive at the event without wearing full uniform and hair done."

hahahahaha, WOW.

Okay we already have enough stuff to be concerned about. Can we please just let the few rude comments pass without a full blown argument about them?

I know the Board members aren't allowed to talk about what was said in the meeting, but have any of them spoken about their indivual thoughts about how these new changes will affect their seperate businesses??
here is a face book post from one:
A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be. ~ Rosalynn Carter.
Can you believe this?

It was not rude, but some of the things you stated are simply incorrect. Gay boys can still cheer, as can straight boys. They are not telling boys that cannot cheer simply because they are gay, because that is ridiculous. USASF has also already taken the lines out that mentioned anything kind of related to this (shimmys and flamboyant gestures) which is where I'm guessing it came from.

No, however I would suggest instead of posting knee-jerk reactionary comments that you go read the threads on this subject, and get some more insight.
okay i will.. Thanks though. I may of misunderstood. I'll be done reading in about 5 hours lol.

SORRY EVERYONE! I WAS RUDE AND WRONG! IGNORE MY COMMENT EVERYONE! LET ME GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THIS!

Guess who is liking the rule changes? Small gyms with no guys and only girls who have no standing or doubles. And if they keep giving out 10 billion at large bids to worlds, now every gym can compete at worlds.

Honestly the way the age grid is under the new rules we will struggle to even have a Level 5 next year. We were looking to field a IOC5 and now that won't happen unless something is changed back. So most smaller gyms will be effected first by the age grid and if they can put a team together then the tumbling rules may help them.

Here's all 3 links since USASF cleared the whole page of them now (and then I went searching for them, lol)..

Rules to Implement: http://usasf.net.ismmedia.com/ISM2//News/Rules%20to%20implement.pdf
Image Policy: http://usasf.net.ismmedia.com/ISM2//News/Image%20Policy%20Final.pdf
Image Etiquette: http://usasf.net.ismmedia.com/ISM2//News/USASF%20Image%20Etiquette%20Final.pdf
Is it just me or are these two links not working??
Image Policy: Not working
Image Etiquette: Not working..
