All-Star Getting New Teams Noticed?

So, I was just thinking earlier... and i thought, Wait, all at Worlds are KNOWN teams. What about those other teams just starting out? Theres no way they can rise to the top since theres never going to be room for them. OR Is it just because some teams aren't good enough?

I recently discovered this team And was thinking: Are they good enough for worlds? Whats wrong with them? (I think their Level 2 Senior....)

What do you think?

I'd say the very first step towards "World recognition" is actually competing in a Worlds eligible division. Senior 2 is not one of those divisions.

That's a pretty clean level 2 routine you have. There's always room for every gym to improve. If your gym is just starting out, they need to keep plugging along and do their thing. Put out clean, good routines and people will notice. Good luck!

Having a strong program from top to bottom and putting out strong, exciting, clean routines with innovative skills and winning big comps will get you noticed.

I hadn't really heard of jersey allstars before, but when I saw them on our schedule for cheersport I looked them up and saw the half turn switch up to stretch, I thought wow that's a good team. So that is how you get a team noticed.

Just because you get a bid doesn't mean you have to go. I'd rather sit out for a year or 2, steadily improve and clean up, and then go to worlds prepared. I don't get why first year level 5 teams always insist on going to Worlds, with AL bids. Yes it's an honor to get a bid..but if you know you won't make day 2 why waste hundreds and hundreds of dollars?

Oh, and just an FYI, That team that was in the video only went to 4 comps this year and won every one. But, in that area, theres no real good teams except Connect All stars...

you're best bet as of right now is to have your gym take you guys to IAL's International All Levels. its like "Worlds" for lower level teams 1-so5's
