My CP and I are putting together a video of the year of our team. We had a very close team with zero drama, best team ever. :starwars:

Best gift ever.

I've had two top favorite coach gifts. One year, a mom made me a scrapbook with a page for each girl. The girls each wrote me a letter and then there was pictures of them from the season. I bawled liked a baby and still go back and read the letters years later.

The other, a mom had pictures from the entire season and had an actual book printed. It is such a nice keepsake and I treated it like a high school yearbook and had the girls all sign it. Their personal comments to me are what made it so special!

Scrapbooks of the season!! I made them last year for our Mini coaches and although they are extremely labor intensive, it was worth it. The coaches loved them! Those memories will last a lifetime. I love looking at my old scrapbooks from 13 years ago!

^^^^that is what we have done the last two years, made scrapbooks for the two coaches and the team mom. One mom did the work and the others pitched in $. The scrapbooks included the gym pic, team pic, competition pics and than pages of informal shots, comp results, pics of team t-shirts, etc.

We got my coach a Coach purse:)

True story... my first year coaching high school, I was at one of the most notoriously wealthy private schools in the state. I was 21 at the time, and a bit naive in the ways of expensive fashion-related items because I grew up on K-mart couture lol. One of the parents bought me a Coach purse, and I literally thought it was called "Coach" because it was especially made for coaches :confused:.... Needless to say, that job taught me about all kinds of important things, like seersucker, madras, jcrew, lilly pulitzer, boat shoes, and alligator shirts ;)

My daughter joined a sorority this year and I now know how much a Lilly Pulitzer dress cost and what Sperry's are. Who knew you could get Sperry boat shoes covered with HOT PINK sequins???? These are not typical Jersey items. #forreal

The things tha i lOve, are anything with team photos, a videography from the start of the season to the last competition... I love personal things like that i know tha time was put into it... Gift cards galore i have probably 25 that i haven't used........Who wants them? I Don't go to the movies, or drink coffee? Look for me at the HP House!!!!! Anything personal from the team that has meaning will be the Best thing!!!!:fro:

Coop I will make sure I find you Saturday :)

When I coached rec, I got a key chain of a megaphone with our team name inscribed on it, a plaque with a picture of the team on it & "Coach Ashlen" and I always wore bows to practice so they bought me two bows :) (one they all signed and the other was one of the most gorgeous blue black & lace bows!!) I also made them all an end of year video and got them all shirts :) (the girls were all 13-14)

i would rather this than any other present

Awhile ago online I saw these "doodle bows". Tey were white and you got markers with them so you could have all the team members sign it or write a cute message for the coach. I hinted to my mom that it would have made a great gift for us seniors this past year but she didn't go for it :(
