Orange, cheetahs, and panthers winning!

And the "whiteboard guy".....I was sitting on the right side of the milkhouse and there was an employee who kept us entertained with his whiteboard, he was HILARIOUS! :p
CHUCK!!!! He was awesome!!

I had 3 favs....
#1 Seeing my son and his team take the mat at semi's
#2 Seeing my son and his team place top ten in Finals (first time ever for our gym, so very proud!!)
#3 Chuck and his signs on both days, he cracked us up!!!
I have to add #4.... When Just Cheer was forced to wait forever to take the mat because of over flow issues (let's leave it at that).... and the whole arena cheered "JUST CHEER" for them as the parents filed in. We have a friend on that team and seeing the appreciation on the parents faces (and them video taping the crowd cheering for them) was a great moment!!

Well, not really a favorite, but such a moment filled with so much emotion and love. My cp's team didn't make it through to day two. After years of cheering, I know when a routine doesn't go the way it was planned, my cp likes to go off alone for a bit. No talking to her, just have to wait it out while she works it out in her mind, then she'll text and say "Where are you?" This time, I was outside of the Milkhouse and saw her walk out after, by herself of course. Mascara everywhere and a false eyelash dangling off her left eye! When she saw me, I just stood, waiting to see if she was ready to talk about it. I was still okay at this point, composed, no tears, just thinking what positive thing I could possibly say at this heartbreaking moment. She came running with her arms out (in my mind, I saw her as my 5 year old little girl running toward me). We both hugged for what seemed like hours. AND then, I lost it...I bursted out crying like a baby. Only words that came out were "I'm sorry baby, I love you and I'll never let you go". She eventually moved on to meet her team, I had to go to a corner alone and cry until I was done getting it out. Being sixteen now, she hasn't hugged me that tight and for so long in forever! My heart literally almost burst with emotion. A little blessing of mother/daughter love on a sad day for her and the team.

Sorry for rambling.

Congratulations to every team out there who competed! It was quite an honor to see so many talented athletes and teams all in one weekend.
Slightly random, but your daughter is my FAVORITE to watch. My team was on the warm up mat before Tsunami at Battle at the Capital, I told her back stage I loved seeing her as point flyer. Honestly, I would watch her over the more "famous" team members, just because she performs so well! Everything she does just seems so effortless and you can tell she really loves what she's doing.

I've already posted like twice, but it was so amazing, so here we go again...
-HOLDEN'S DOUBLE DOUBLE DOUBLE. like I wish I could've seen a usasf rule person's face when he did that. they would've been like, DEDUCTION.
-Maddie crying at the end of pyramid, and bawling during awards
-CHINA-shots-I think they got the most clapping for a dance all weekend-'nuf' said
-Madeline running out with T-Birds <3
-WETZEL PRETZEL...so much better than the espn grill.
-Trading sports bras with a girl from team chile (UPAC) and her being so excited she got a CEA sports bra.
-Everybody cheering their hearts out for Jamaica, they were SO cute!and their dance, man I can't move like that!
-Seeing Erica,Maddie & Sandy cheering on the front of the floor for Norway Viqueens and giving Ulrikke a huge hug after they hit a solid performance. those of you who don't know, Ulrikke and Kristen came over the summer to be with SE and Maddie.
-Meeting some WONDERFUL WCSS parents. one of them is sending me a tank top!
this was such a great experience for me.
And I hope my mom reads this---WE'RE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR. :)

I loved the irony in the gyms name being Just Cheer and that's all the crowd wanted them to do was get on with the competition and JUST CHEER. I also enjoyed the "LET'S GET STARTED" chant.

Seriously...all the crowd wanted to see was cheerleading and they kept playing random music. "And here's another hit from 1982. I went to one of their concerts and....." OK DUDE seriously it was nearing noon and all of five teams had performed in the Milkhouse.

Going off that, I'm also confused why they kept saying video was forbidden for the "safety and security of the athletes" yet they continually announced they were filming us in the crowd doing the wave and dancing and were currently tweeting the videos. So the spectators don't count? haha

when they kept saying oh go the to baseball field and watch the multi million dollar jumbo tron like it was really cool!! then actually going out to look and realizing ITS OVER 400 FEET AWAY!! behind the centerfield fence! hahaha
