They decided to have capris like one week before the competition. Their senior 5 team got deduction for showing butt at their nationals so they wanted to be on the safe side.

I wonder how many thousands of deductions would be given if that was done here...

Anyone notice that the Legacy Extreme & VAS uniforms are the exact same uniform?

Platinum from STL, SOT... there are 3 others I can see in my head and cant name...

Its a popular uni.

I know Im the only one. But I hope capris and full tops become the standard for coed teams.
First and foremost because if we step away from short skirts and tummies I think we'll get looked at better.

But also because I hate the dichotomy of uniforms on a coed team. Girls and guys look like theyre not even on the same team when theyre standing right next to each other.

Also, If I have to endure the torture that is pants, so do you all!!

Cheer Fusion just finalized our design with GK. It's going to be a Leotard style uni with shorts for our full gym So excited to deubt it this season!!!

Please no capris. If your team must wear capri's no one can way more than 93 pounds and must be at least 5 foot tall. In other words this is not going to be an attractive look on most.

Compared to crop tops and short skirts? I think capris and a full top cover a wider range of body types.

I don't like the capris because honestly cheerleading is a very "girly" sport, and the capris just don't look as girly as a skirt or shorts do. Yes there are plenty of male cheerleaders but overall it is a feminine sport with all of the choreography and flair and such, and I think that the almost unisex-looking uniforms takes a lot of the style and flair out of the sport. If it were an NCATA or Stunt team, sure, it would look fine. But they don't match the flash of most allstar cheerleading routines.

I thought our goal was to get rid of the "girly" image?

The capris are definatly not my favorite choice on any team:
1. They look more like warm ups than real outfit.
2. Wouldn't you get HOT? I get gross and sweaty in my skirt alone.
3. Every girls sport mainly has skirts...field hockey.. lacrosse..tennis..etc. It's not a matter of looking more athletic, as most girls sports wear some form of skirt too. (ours just happen to look fierce)

Guys wear pants and survive. Its not that big of a deal.

Just my take on the capris: I feel like if you are wearing capris you should just wear a tshirt, cause honestly it looks like leggings to me. If people have a problem with short skirts, they should make sure they order the right sized skirt. You always see teams with cute skirts but a handful of girls have theirs way to short. I like that the capris are an orginal..welll kinda now.. idea for other teams, but let Top Gun stick with it.

And I don't know about the uniforms...I like them from the back but the front just doesn't flow?

Just because it covers the body doesn't mean that body is going to look good in it. Not everyone looks good in a pair of leggings or yoga pants and that is exactly what those capris look like. It goes with something I repeat over and over when I see people out in public, just because it is in your size doesn't mean you should wear it. As someone who hates when girls wear leggings and don't have a shirt on to cover the front and behind I pray that this doesn't become a trend. Unless you are itty bitty it will not look good, and even then it still can look VERY unflattering. I would rather see some bellys showing in a crop top then it all stuffed into an unflattering piece of spanfex fabric.
