FIRST: I HATE the capris
SECOND: Its hard to tell the girls from the guys..(idk if it's just me but i couldnt even watch Top Gun at Worlds because it was hard to determine which was which)
THIRD: The capris remind me of softball..NOT cheer

I know Im the only one. But I hope capris and full tops become the standard for coed teams.
First and foremost because if we step away from short skirts and tummies I think we'll get looked at better.

But also because I hate the dichotomy of uniforms on a coed team. Girls and guys look like theyre not even on the same team when theyre standing right next to each other.

Also, If I have to endure the torture that is pants, so do you all!!
Sorry, but i definitely cannot see Cali Coed let alone CA Cheetahs wearing capris..Not gunna happen

Oh, and Allstar Elite from California used to wear pants, then they wore capris for a couple year, now they wear shorts.

Here's the way I look at it..
Guys and girls do different things in the routine. (Speaking completely generally) Girls fly. Guys and girls have different parts in the dance. I think the contrast between guys and girls kind of adds to the routine. Just like in dance, guys and girls do not wear the same costumes. Sure, they wear similar things that go together, but even though they don't match completely doesn't mean that their motions don't coincide and look good together.

i personally think that the crop top and skirt has become an image for the allstar cheerleader. it separates us from high school/pop warner cheerleaders. I feel like changing the uniform would take away from the image and glam of allstar cheerleading that we've all come to love. not to mention it is cooler and easier to move in.
