Congrats to Flyers All-Starz for capturing all 3 bids for the Cheerleading Worlds at Adrenaline in Montreal yesterday (and all 20 teams coming in 1st place!) and special mention to their Senior 5 team who was a close 4th in the bid rankings.
Partial Paid: International Open Coed 6
At-large: International Open All girl 6
At-large: International All girl 5

Congrats! Any videos from the weekend?

So I'm reviving this thread... :D
Any idea on which canadian teams/gyms are vying for worlds bids this season? It seems every year there are more and more Canadian teams at worlds (those who were present at ICU worlds this year for the team Canada performances can testify that the HP field house was PACKED with Canadian athletes and supporters!!)

Here's what I know so far (correct me if I'm wrong, and add to the list if you can!):
Flyers All-Starz
IOAG5 , IOC6, IOAG6 , SR5
CheerSport Sharks

Agreed. Coaching level 4 I just stare at it because I cannot figure out what a 2 skill dismount from 2 legs is..maybe I'm slow?

A double down...when you read the score sheets, think the technical wording for them, not the most common example. Only listing the most common used example will often limit creativity and make all the skills look the same in routines.

There are separate boxes for double downs, in level 4 dismounts:

Therefore by saying "1 skill dismount from 1 leg (no twist) OR 2 skill dismount from 2 legs (up to one twist)" I believe they are implying transitionary/creative elements OTHER than the typical twist from 1 leg & double from 2.

Why do you feel like you are required to do both? The 2 trick double just has a higher start value.

It is pretty much impossible to max out difficulty in level 5 tosses (ie 10/10) in the cheer canada scoresheets unless you do both a 1 trick to double and a 2 trick to double at "ALL".
Unless you have 1 trick double at "ALL" and a combination of other baskets (including some 1 trick doubles, 2 trick singles and 2 trick doubles )at "MAJ" and "LTM" throughout your routine.

PCT does not have an IOC 6. Many of last year's athletes are on Cheer Sport California Sharks this year.
