I for one would LOVE another hall added. My daughter had a 6:15AM report time on Saturday and a 5:15AM report time yesterday. That has to be the craziest cheer thing I've ever heard/done!
I feel for you! Thankfully we didn't have to be at the venue until 10:00 a.m. yesterday. Our coach (and I can't thank her enough!!!!) didn't make the whole team come to cheer on the minis & tinys, it was just too early when you have teams up to level 5.

Does anyone have a video of Spirit All-Stars Onyx? Their level 6 team?

My daughter's coach was there at 5:15AM and stayed all the way through the final awards. Thankfully we had enough teams with early reports to come cheer our kids on and we did the same for them. It was a brutal schedule, but it prepared us for Cheersport next month.

Overall, I thought this event was very well-run. The only time that things got thrown off or there were delays were caused by injuries where stretchers had to be brought on the mat to carry girls off, or at one point someone threw up and they had to clean that up. Other than that I thought the event was run very well, the people directing warm-ups were efficient but not rude.

One thing I was really happy to see was the amount of sportsmanship and camaraderie between northern teams. I hate to say it, but that's not something we have a lot of down in the south. You don't see people from other gyms cheering each other on. Maybe it's because the kids are in closer proximity up here, like they go to school together. But everyone was very nice, we talked to a lot of teams in warm-up that were very pleasant and I hope our kids made some friends

I was pleasantly surprised with how well run this comp was compared to past Spirit Cheer Events we have been at in Ct. Great Job ! I thought the judging was also spot on.
The convention center is a whole other animal!! Running out of food on Sunday, filthy rest rooms and inflated parking... yuck!
But in general a great weekend and so impressed with SSX... flawless execution and beautiful routine!

Did see the girl who did the special needs stunt/performance group from Champion. She did just a great job, as did the other girls who performed with her. They accented her well, but no doubt who the star was!
Wasn't there, but I know exactly who you are talking about and always love watching her! Really hoping I get to see her in person this season.

Yes, the rest rooms were horrible! But what was most annoying was no wifi and horrible cell service. I wanted to keep my husband updated, but had to go downstairs by the doors to get a strong signal. But overall was very pleased with how it was run. Yes, SSX was incredible and totally deserved that bid!!!! Just wish WCSS hit on the first day and gave SSX a battle for that bid, but so happy with just getting to see all the incredible competition from the tinys to the level 6 teams we were in awe!!!!

I'm confident they will get one this weekend in Providence!

To everyone asking about the girl on jersey sapphires who was injured, her MRI shows a torn acl, partially torn meniscus, bone bruise, and the doctors said her knee completely shifted. She will need surgery but she's okay right now.
