Could someone tell me (and where in the rules to find it) whether a bird front is legal at level 2? Not sure if that's what you call it here, but the flyer goes up to extension then the backspot pulls the ankles backwards and the bases catch the flyer in prone. Hopefully that made sense...
I looked in the rules but couldn't see anything about dismounts to prone, if I was even looking in the right place?
if connected, level 2. if not connected, it's considered a release movement and a level 4 stunt..my team did it last year.

We are in the process of adding our winners from CHEERSPORT as well.

I asked @VarsityAllstar if there was a list and here is their answer:

We have asked @CHEERSPORTCorp to post them on their website but we will work to update our listing ASAP!

I'm wondering why we can't simply see a list of Summit bid winners from Cheersport ... the site listed above doesn't indicate when it was updated or where teams got their bids.

Can we just have a list please?

Scoring confuses me. Is your score out of 100? I know some level 5 teams score in the upper 90's. but then you get to lower levels and they're in the 70's and 60's... so are they only scored out of like 90 or 80? sorry if that makes no sense at all...

Depends on the competition... Varsity brand scoresheets cap each level at a certain amount of points (level 1 is 55 I think, level 5 is 100). Other companies allow teams to score the max no matter what the level. Some scoresheets are out of 10 rather than 100.

Kyle Tolliver from California Allstars did it at JAMZ. I don't know if anyone does it at other comps.

And AZ Power is currently an all-female gym and have been since they got rid of their Limited Coed team. In Arizona, boys mainly cheer at Desert Storm - they have a better record with coed teams and have 25 male athletes.

I kept hearing the names of these 2 gyms when we were at qualifiers back in November. Because the guys from different teams were talking to our guys. But they were saying guys went to Desert Thunder and girls go to AZ Power. Oh the joys of Arizona Cheerleading. I miss Georgia.

Depends on the scoresheet. For varsity the scores build based on level. So a team doing a certain skill would score the same at every level and the higher the level the more points you can get. Level 5 is out of a 100, level 6 is out of 103 (one extra point in stunts, baskets, and pyramids). I don't know the lower level maxes though.

But yeah, that's Varsity - can't speak for the other scoresheets.

Wait, but does Cheer Time Revolution (cheer perfection) seriously have an IO6 team that's competiting for a bid at WSA this weekend...

They do have an IO6 team - someone on the board was on it at some point. But that doesn't mean they're actively working for a bid - lots of level 6 teams don't have that goal.

If you do an individual, do you only compete against people in your division and age? Like i want to do individuals, but i'd have to be Senior but i'm level 1 and I can't compete against level 3 seniors...

its age and level! they dont always have EVERY level for EVERY age group, so often some athletes have to compete in a different level, but ive seen that mostly with younger girls such as youth, having to compete at level 3 because thats the highest for that age group. i think they would have a senior 1, or worst comes to worst senior 2 :) try it out! you'll never know until you try :)

ive always wondered this. teams like shooting stars only accept paid bids, but if it came down to their last bid opportunity and they only got an at large do you really think they would turn it down and just not go to worlds that year?

They've had teams not go to worlds in the past for this reason. Not stars, but one of the other ones - Ody? Suns? I can't remember. Some gyms don't want to waste their time and money going to worlds if they won't be competitive - and the lack of a paid bid usually means they won't be.

i can understand that but say stars had a bad run and didnt qualify for a paid.. i cant see them not taking stars!
