Hello cheer world.

I started cheering in 2012 and have fallen in love with it. Ive competed twice all together and this year included partner stunt in that competition.

I have already graduated in 2011 (did track and field for 5 years)

im looking to possibly change programs depending on how much the cost is. (location at this point really doesnt matter)

Stunt wise I can pretty much do whatever you throw at me.

my tumbling needs work (big guy) i have a standing tuck and a round off tuck and thats pretty much it.

does anyone have any ideas of places I can spend the next three years and not go completely broke??

i just want to cheer honestly lol

here is the video that got my partner and I 17th out of 20 and i think we ended up placing that too lol

I can't help with colleges, but is an Open all-star team an option over a college??Check with your local clubs and then you're not having to worry about eligibility years

i think id prefer to do UCA for 3 more years and then think about all star. I really need to start researching because this decision is becoming more real.

Too bad you don't qualify as an undergrad anymore! I am from CA and I attended University of Hawaii at Manoa for my undergrad. I qualified for the WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange) scholarship...it cuts your out of state tuition costs! :) So instead of paying out-of-state tuition I got a discount (it ended up equating to about 1.5 times the in-state tuition).

Although, as far as I can remember, the post-grad tuition isn't that bad either at UH...and they have a great cheer program - even offer scholarships. HPU has a great cheer program as well - although I think they are a bit more strict on requirement and more expensive than UH. I love my alma mater and would DIE to be back! :D

If UCA style is a must, you have Bama and KY.. If NCA is ok than UofL and UofO is the place.. Both have Alstar teams that are an option as well

Both will be at Daytona in a couple of weeks. Might be worth the trip to scout and see.

as much as id love to cheer for Alabama or Kentucky im not sure my tuck and round off tuck would allow me to make the team lol. it would be nice though

when you say UofO are you talking about Oregon or Oklahoma. oklahomas program looks pretty good, i was thinking about talking to them too.
