Is that a real name? Its kinda like how my 8.5 year old step daughter says she is addicted to fruity pebbles, doesn't sound right and you never want to be addicted to anything , its normally bad, this name is strange.
The gym is truly called Epidemic Stunt & Tumble (or EST).
I have never been a “typical” cheerleading coach, and I wanted a gym name that reflected the edgier, different style that I represent.
If we looked at and eliminated all the names of teams that represent a “thing” with violent tendencies or tragic outcomes because they seemed “wrong”, we would have a much smaller pool of team names to choose from—F5 tornadoes (and twisters in general) are destructive beings that cause havoc and disaster where ever they touch down. Tsunamis kill multitudes of people. Great White Sharks, Cheetahs, and many other animals are predators, and kill to eat. Snipers are trained to kill their target. There is a team with the name Addiction. We don’t look at those team names and think “that’s wrong.”
Epidemic doesn’t always refer to illnesses, and can be defined as a “rapid spread, growth, and development,” which is exactly what I hope for my program to do.
