There is not one muscle in my body that is not in pain. Taking a year off cheer and the filling in for WORLDS, and having to get your body conditioned in three weeks was probably not a smart idea. However, thrilled to be super senior-ing for my last year, and going to worlds.

Tonight I am sad. Back story: School cheer still trumps all star in my area--if you're on the school squad you have a more elite social status.
At practice two girls that I've coached for many years informed me that their school cheer sponsor was pressuring them into joining the competitive "rec" team (not affiliated with the school) and quitting all star. They were crying uncontrollably. I had to make them leave my office for a minute so I could make sure I kept my cool and composed myself as well. I love those girls. We are all devastated that they have been put into this situation.
