Okay - still trying to figure out Med. Coed. CP's gym has a team in the division. There are still 15 teams listed for prelims, but instead of Ultimate Cheer and Dance being listed twice, now Midwest Cheer Elite has two teams listed (Thundercats and Toledo Sabres). However, according to the bid history I can find Toledo Sabres is a small senior team. They are also listed on the schedule as SS#39 for prelims. Can anyone help? ASCheerMan ?? Are there really only 14 teams in prelims in Med. Coed? Or is Midwest Cheer Elite Toledo Sabres competing in both small senior and medium coed somehow? From the bid history on USASF website it looks like there should only be 14 teams with AL bids in Med. Coed.

Thanks!

Just think about how the parents of CPs felt when they couldn't get in b/c they were helping thier CPs get ready and couldn't get to the arena early enough.
Thanks for all the info. My daughter's team is first in LAG. All I want is to be in the venue. Don't even care if I can sit down :D

Yup Large Senior was first thing Sunday last year. Everyone got there at the crack of dawn, staked out their seats, watched Large Senior performances and awards, and never left...
That's when they locked the doors and this happened:

OMG! At what time was this? And where were you at to take this picture? That is crazy!!!! Thanks for all the info.

I'm sorry in advance if someone already asked this question.....but I couldn't find info anywhere on it. Are the block times/event schedule done as a lottery too as the performance order is? If not, why would "worlds" put divisions, such as all girl med, and Med Coed, on as finishing at 11pm on Sunday night but be the first divisions the very next morning at 9am?? That seems a bit crazy to me. There are so many other divisions that finish earlier on Sun, but start later on Monday. I can't understand why these couple of div need to be the absolute latest Sun then first next morning. Is there some method to the madness I don't understand? Those poor athletes from med. sr and med. coed will be running on not much sleep. Although they could sleep in their uniforms! I'm just surprised if this was not done by lottery gym owners are not asking for this changed. There is space that no div should be like that; finishing at 11pm and starting at 9am next morning.....any thoughts...
I agree with you, the finals in this division on Monday morning should be interesting. It definately will be the survival of the fittest. The team who can perform in their sleep with a smile. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

What ended up happening by the time SAG was to perform, is they allowed ppl to come in & support their team and then was escorted back out!

I got to the venue probably around 715-7:30 and was still in a line. I got a decent seat, but again...parents that had to tend to their CPS did not have the luxury of getting to the venue early! My CP is also in the LAG division and I have already got things set to make sure she is taken care of & I am able to get to the venue EARLY!

This pic was probably around the time SAG division was starting! They held up the competition because there was a big ruckus outside, ppl falling out, etc..IT WAS A MESS!!!

I agree this scheduling is ridiculous. My son's team competes at 10:37pm. There will be no time to discuss the routine or needed changes, try to get something to eat and get a good nights sleep for the next day. Who did this scheduling?

Honestly it is practically negligent on the part of USASF. I truly hope nobody gets injured in those divisions (medium all girl/medium coed) because of this ill thought out scheduling. Just saying...

This makes me glad my Husband decided to stay home this year. I'm not worried about Semis since we're at Jostens, but if we make finals, we're first thing Monday morning at the Milkhouse. I know most people wont be there to see us, but rather the level 5 teams.

On that note, I just ordered him the live stream service and told him he has to have family/friends over for a Sunday evening party to watch semis!! :D
