...could you elaborate possibly as to why exactly.. (Imagine that the purple emoji looking upwards and smiling was here)
I just think it looks sloppy and completely inappropriate for the airport. Wear this kind of thing around competitions all you want, but running around in the airport like this isn't going to make people respect cheerleaders any more. The worst part is the flip flops.

Honest question...do you really think people are going to respect or not respect our industry because of what they are wearing to the airport?

If they are all dressed the same, they'll look cohesive. They'll look like a team.

You can still look like a team by wearing jeans and matching tshirts and not look like you just rolled out of bed.

Love the CA practice wear but you know I am always a little nervous of a one shoulder sports bra. I would be scared it would get pulled down by accident but I think that might just be me. I swear its so much easier at times to be a boy :banghead:

Well most of Cheetahs are not as developed as others so I guess it won't matter too much. But As a coach you should know what is acceptable to practice in. Some borderline bandeau bathing suit is not it.

I completely agree with you! Sometimes I think coaches and manufacturers want to order and make practice wear and uniforms that are super pretty and sparkly but not very practical for every body type on the teams. They sometimes forget whose wearing it and how many crazy awesome things they have to do in that outfit.

Since on the tops or leggings it doesn't say 'cheer' or 'cheerleader' I'm pretty sure that an outsider wouldn't know which sport/industry they were from?
And from experience I can say its extremely uncomfortable flying in jeans - leggings are perfect!

I can't remember if it was Twisters or Gymtyme that had those practice half leggings things a few years ago. But they were awesome.

Valid I can see a point here to an extent, I do however know that most girls I've travelled with refuse to wear anything other then leggings when traveling because they find that jeans are restricting. While I agree it may appear 'unprofessional' they at least look cohesive and look like a team travelling together. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the tank tops simply because they seem too baggy, if perhaps they were wearing a team warmup jackets and the leggings I think it would look great.

They're teenagers on an airplane...I don't see why them being comfortable is a problem.

I don't know what you're talking about, leggings and shirts like that is the best thing to wear to the airport. They are SO comfortable. Jeans, shorts, and basically everything else besides pajamas are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. Also, who cares what shoes they wear? It's not like they are stilettos. I wear flip flops to the airport, convenient and easy to take off during security. Comfort = Key. I don't see how that outfit makes cheerleaders look bad at all, but to each their own...

uhm if i had to choose between the CA leggings outfit or wearing a black dress and heels on CEA... i'd choose CA any day of the week. all the CEA girls looked very pretty, but really? you're going to put kids on a plane in fancy dresses? why? i get the mentality... our basketball team traveled to every away game in a shirt and tie.. but not on a plane, through security, sometimes sitting through layovers, eating messy airport food. no way no how.

at least it's a short flight from NC.
