All-Star Worlds Day 3 Updates (finals Day)

sooo now that I'm BLOWING UP this thread (hey, when you leave for like 6 hours what do you expect)
some things I'd like to point out now that I have time to catch up:

2. this is super embarrassing, but I figured someone would find my blondeness humorous. so I'm watching rockstar and because most of the routine I was blown away by their fierceness, it took me till the dance to realize/think i saw what I did. They were finishing up the dance, and I'm like, theres 5 guys on that team.... no, no there's not. there is a rather dark black girl on the team, that t first glance, i thought I saw another pair of pants. but her dance skills made me realize otherwise. i feel like a complete idiot.

I'm sure this wasn't meant to be offensive and perhaps maybe in some capacity it's a compliment.... But as a black woman I'm horribly offended...and if that the child from Rockstar ever sees this I'd wager shed be upset as well. And if she isn't. Kudos to her.


Reminds me of the time last year at my gym with a child of another race felt like it was okay to go up to a black girl and say "you're the blackest black person I've ever seen". Hysteria.

Next time Reread how you word things....and consider racial sensitivity.

That's fine and I slightly understand. Not to harp on this in any means because I definitely am not Team Race Police....but please try to understand that it came across as "Blonde white girl, lol, shes so black she looks like shes wearing pants". Just like I said...consider how you word your compliments because while I am not the representative of all black people, to me personally, as a black person, it read as uncomplimentary. I'm not here to indoctrinate anyone on the perceived "color struck" issues that people in the black community, especially young black girls are often faced with....but in the future...please just don't ever make that kind of "compliment" again (for the benefit of you) because if you say it to the wrong person, it more than likely won't end well.

So if you did stare at her legs for 10 minutes...keep it to yourself next time.

And I say all of this with love....thanks and moving on lol.

to put it bluntly out there, the only negativity ive seen the most is that f5 is bitter they got fourth. so far Panthers have been keeping it classy.

I have seen bitterness from F5 FANS, not from actual F5 team members, parents, coaches.
Please tell me that is what you meant?

Not sure if you mean Cheersport Sharks, but this isn't their first globe. They were silver in 2012 & 2007 and bronze in 2009.

So proud of all the first time gyms though! What an amazing experience for them!

So I either was given incorrect information last night or they changed their minds when the venues represented ghost towns, but either way I am chillin in the Milkhouse at the start of small senior finals with an entire row to myself and my feet up on the empty chair in front of me. It is kind of heartbreaking to see these kids competing in a stadium that is barely 50% full.
