I blinged my cp's practice shoes! Here is the Instagram link...Photo by cacheermomma • Instagram

May add some more to the sides...the star on the back isn't holding up to well, I think because its such a small area but I used 3mm I think that is the smallest you can go. I also wish I had clear adhesive (or something that dried clear), the ES stuff I bought is white and you can see it in some places..which bothers me...
Definitely getting a hot fix gun soon!
You are better off using the hotfix rhinestones, and they do come a bit smaller (2mm). They already have glue on the backs and all you need to do is press with a very hot iron. If you need help on how to do your designs faster and press them, email me at [email protected]

Sorry, this isnt about the topic but, how does your cp like those shoes? I use to have them and i had issues with well them smelling (ik ik its normal but it was baaad), and they we're comfortable i thought.
Just curious, sorry to hijack the thread!

Thanks for the information we do want one with the logo on it. Now I just have to find someone that would be willing to bling it for her. I am not crafty at all and would make a mess of it.

CP is trying out next weekend at Kville as well...maybe we need to all get together sometime with these backpacks and make it happen! @12stepCheermom, you up for giving a tutorial sometime? LOL

Sure! It's actually super easy and I have some extra bling leftover I can show you with. I have a ton of the non-hot fix ones that you have to glue (ordered the wrong ones) but I think I have some of the others left too

Will you message me what you purchased? Or what I should purchase? I'm clueless but would love to learn.

Does anyone know if the new sparkle backpacks can be heat pressed? I have someone interested in this as well as my own CP but would hate to find out the hard way by melting the backpack! Thanks in advance!

I looked at the bags online, but would still like to see one; however the material looks like the glitter vinyl smooth finish. If it is the material that I am thinking of, the answer is no. Rhinestones will not sitick to any vinyl (anything that has a plastic-type finish)....However you can use glitter vinyl or something called "flock". it is a fabric finish vinyl that you can put the rhinestones on then press it to the bag.....pressing the bag with a silicone mat or pillow will protect the bag.....Good luck! If any of you try it please post pictures, I am sure it will turn out beautiful. I have used the flock with vinyl in the past and it did turn out very nice.....

Its not smooth, its some sort of weave. I can't tell what though. I think I may pass on this one until I see further info. A mom wanted me to do this for her little girls bday. I don't want to be responsible for frying an $85 bag. If anyone gets the answer, please post ASAP as I think I will be giving this back to her sans bling on Thursday.

Does the bag have a tag that says what the material is?

Nylon  That means low heat and possibly stones popping off :(
If it is Nylon, it will NOT work. You may get the stones to stick; however they will pop off very easily. You can press Nylon upwards of 350; however you must use a silicone sheet/mat, and it will press just fine if you want to do vinyl or other print media, but rhinestones will not holdup.
