The champions league in football (soccer) is where the top three teams in (some, not entirely sure which) European countries' leagues qualify for a separate competition against each other...But seeing as that is essentially Worlds IO day 2, I'm guessing it's not the same thing haha

Vaguely I think, is the championships for that in Glasgow soon? There's so many European competitions, and seeing as we don't travel that far I don't keep up very well!

At (almost) every competition you compete if you place top 3 you get the points. The more important competition is the more points you will get. A team who has the most points at the end wins cash prize and qualify to the europeans.

if it is a competition type event, i don't see the top 3 of every division attending. the majors doesn't even invite that many and a lot of teams have turned it down for whatever reason. like WC doesn't attend non-varsity events and CA (while they've been expanding their horizons) rarely leaves texas.

i wonder if the coaches/gyms already know all the details and have agreed prior to whatever this announcement is?

I know! I want to go to bed (it's 12.45am here) and I have practice in the morning and have to move out of halls (not a clue how that's going to happen in a day...) but I don't want to miss anything
