DO NOT worry, I'm not giving out anyone's number. But it seems lately as if everyone is dying to get a cheerlebrity's number. A week ago, I saw an instagram account giving out people such as Jamie Andries, Peyton Mabry, Kelcie Burch, etc.'s numbers. The account was telling people to kik them so they could trade people's numbers. Kristen Basquill also said she has to get a new number because someone thought it would be "funny" to give out her number. She said she might quit social networking over all. What is going on in the cheer world? This is not okay.

So true!
"you're my idol! plz text me i love u XXX-XXX-XXXX" um...do you know how many creeps check jamie andries' pictures?

and the response "hi this is jamie, send me pictures. what do you look like? how flexible are you? show me your needle" SAYS THE CREEPY PEDOPHILE WHO NOW HAS YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBER AND IS GOING TO KIDNAP YOU.

does no one have common sense anymore? i think social media is bad now and i'm in my 20s, but all i can say is thank God it was not so big when I was younger.

parents, check your kids accounts. not only what's on their page, but what they're posting on others, such as their phone number.

Plus, as ridiculous as it seems, many of the "cheerlebrities" have so many followers that their pics are on the pop page. Which means you don't even have to know who the cheerlebrity is - Instagram is handing it to you, you just have to check the pop page. Recipe for disaster much?

People forget that these are kids just like them. They're cheerleaders and in a few years they'll be off to college and on with their lives. I feel bad for them, this is pretty extreme that they have to change their numbers...

I see this on twitter all the time, recently by this commoncheer account someone gave out her number. If I was in the place of the cheerlebrity; if i gave my number out to you its because I trust you and I want to talk to YOU and not some crazy fan or whatever. They trust you not to give their number out, if you get what im saying.

As Dr. Phil says Common sense just isn't that common anymore

I noticed that this is a new trend one kid will get a number and then "trade" it to another kid for someone elses number. I know of a few athletes that have had to have their # changed due to this. And as a parent...this would tick me off. Do you know how expensive it is to buy a new phone or to have the # changed? And you can only change it once every 30 days!

by my taking a few minutes to read this it sounds like trading numbers is almost as popular as trading gym tshirts...Im good at predicting the future but it seems that numbers will soon go on the cheer market. Like "Ill give you Carly's number for a cali sports bra..kik me" Even if this doesnt actually happen its so sad that it has come to this. can I get an amen?
