Plus, nobody has ANY idea of her situation. It could be nothing at all and she's just not the worlds greatest jumper or there could be a problem (that quite frankly has nothing to do with any of us).

Reminds me of a time a couple of seasons ago when people commented in a frenzy on a cheerleaders 2by2 about how she never tumbles and ripping her apart for it.
It took her to go on twitter and explain that she was recovering from a BROKEN BACK to make everyone stop.

I just feel uncomfortable any time we start critiquing any individual person as opposed to their team.

If a notable person falls or messes up, that's one thing, but just pointing out their skill set and critiquing them for the sake of crackerjacks is another.

I would agree 100% if it is a video of a team performance, but when the video is only about one person, and it is posted on the internet for the world to see, what is that persons agenda? I tend to think it is either to brag or to promote themselves, which is their prerogative, but when you single yourself out, you are opening yourself up to criticism as well as compliments. Not saying it is right, but it is inevitable.

I agree with this to an extent but it just amazes me that out of a 7-minute video of this kid doing beautiful kick doubles and ridiculous stunts and technically sound level 5 tumbling passes the thing we end up discussing is that her jumps aren't hyperextended?

Well theres not really much tumbling or jumping in the video to be fair. It is about 7 minutes of the same 3 stunts over and over again.

First one to figure out and tell me the grips for the full up stretch at 1:58 wins!

Can I just say that this young lady is an amazing athlete and she seems so real and down to earth. She obviously doesn't feel the need to put on competition-ready make-up and hair to go to practice. It's refreshing to see an all-star athlete who is more concerned with her tumbling pass then how her hair looks. And to top it off, she appears to be a normal size flyer. Absolutely love her!
