And where her pants are..........aaaaaaaaannnnndddd that is why we get along so well. My birthday was the 16th. :chestbump:August birthday people are always awesome. Notice there are no legal holidays in August. No reason for them, what with all the awesome August people around.
***And btw...random, just so everyone knows: Transformers 4 is filming in Chicago, right behind my school, for the next few weeks. Mark Wahlberg is in Transformers 4. That is all. :cloud9:

Concerning Miley Cyrus... I feel like she's trying too hard to break out of the Disney mold. Like we all know you're a grown up and engaged, but you don't need to be shaking your butt and using a foam finger for... Inappropriate gestures to prove it to the world. It just seemed like she was trying so hard to be grown up and do grown up things, but it just came off as immature, awkward, and a bit trashy. If I were Billy Ray Cyrus... I would be horrified.

@Just-a-Mom You're right, everyone should have their retinas scarred from those images. There is a great picture circulating of Will Smith and familys' faces while watching her performance. That's about how cp, non-cp and I looked while watching it from our couch.

And I mean...they all do it. And I'm sure she wanted us talking about her, and she got it. But Britney did the snake thing, and the sheer/nude looking/sparkly thing, and the kiss. And we all talked about all of it. This isn't talking. This is shaking my head and thinking it was pathetic. Pathetic is not the same as scandalous. (And up until last night I was Miley's biggest defender because I think she gets too much mocking and I think she's usually just a teenager acting out. This was ridiculous)

I will always have a soft spot for Miley, partly because of the Hannah years which were such a big part of ex-cp and non-cp's younger years and partly because even though she has struggled hard trying to rebel against the Disney image she still does not deserve the relentless overbearing public critiques and criticisms (no one does). I am still smh at last night though because I have no words.
We did see the writing on the wall with this years ago when I took cp to see her in concert for the first tour that was partially her own and partially still Hannah Montana. I still remember Miley wearing booty shorts and pretty much doing a pole dance routine complete with pole, with cp and her friend asking where her pants were.
