I'm in the same boat pretty much. Full time course load of classes and working equals one tired kid who doesn't feel like cooking at the end of the day. I'm trying to eat healthier too, which I'm actually finding easier than I thought it would be. Basically when I go grocery shopping, I tell myself don't buy a lot of processed food and carbs, stick to meat and fresh veggies and fruit. For lunches I like to take deli meat, cheese and mustard, roll it up like a fruit roll up, and eat it that way with some vegetables. Usually keeps me full for at least 5 hours. For dinners, I like to cook chicken or fish with a side of veggies. It's so easy to cook both those things, I bet you could do it. Plus it's a super fast meal when you're short on time.

Another thing to think about is substituting healthier options for less healthier options. Like instead of making tuna with mayo, you can use mustard. Or instead of eating ice cream when you're stress eating, get a smoothie or chocolate covered pretzels or apple slices with caramel dip.

It's hard to cut out a lot of your favorite junk foods, but over time it gets easier!

I lost weight starting in my sophomore year of high school and gained back 8-10 ish during senior year, just because the weight I got down to was too hard to maintain and I was really lethargic. And I'm happy where I am, but now that I started college it's really hard to not be eating carbs all the time. And that's what adds on belly fat for me. I have actually lost 4 pounds since I got here a month ago but my belly has definitely gotten softer. It's also difficult to get to the grocery store here (or at least to carry all the groceries back) and I don't have anywhere to cook here. I've been having Annie's organic microwave mac and cheese which isn't too bad. And I try to keep a bag of frozen veggies in my freezer but I go through them really quickly. My breakfasts aren't bad, it's just theres not much to have for lunch and dinner besides some type of pasta made in my microwave. And I can't bear to eat dining hall food for more than 1 meal a day...it just grosses me out because if you look online on my school's website it tells you all the ingredients and nutrition facts and so much of it has trans fat, high fructose corn syrup, tons of sodium. Like that would be worse for me than having pasta for every meal haha

Maybe you could substitute a salad instead of pasta for a meal? It's relatively cheap and easy to keep an assemble. Believe me, I know the struggles of trying to eat healthy in a college environment. It takes a lot of will power to say no to pizza when all your friends are ordering it late at night and you're hungry too. I would highly suggest finding an alternative to the carbs.

Also, the more you work out the more you're going to gain muscle and muscle burns fat. So even if you only spend 20 minutes on the tread mill, it's still better than nothing. Get those muscles working!

I went over my time limit for my persuasive speech about cheerleading, but my professor seemed pretty interested so she didn't count off as much...but it was hard to kind of "dumb it down" to put it nicely for the non-cheerleaders in the class lol.
