This probably won't be very pc to say, but I'm saying it. It's not your job to cater to every new fangled allergy and dietary restriction out there. Just hand out your candy! The moms can sort it out later - any mom with kids with allergies is not going to just let them have their bag of candy without looking through it.

If you're really concerned, buy what you want and then also keep a few lollipops on hand in case someone asks.

True dat. I understand that Celiacs is a thing, but I feel like half the people who are allergic to 8 billion things are the people who drastically overdid things anyway. Going from eating gluten to eating TONS of dairy so cutting that out..etc. Balance, people!

Side note...Cheer Live vs Fboard tension? I see you there...because you're not hiding it.

I missed three peoples noon medications at work today. I'm so mad at myself holy crap. I know it's not all the way my fault but I just want to be invisible right now.

I actually have had parents in the past who specifically ask for things is what I was thinking. I mean, my niece's mom doesn't care. She goes through her candy and takes out what she can't have and then eats it all, lol. I was thinking of "those" parents who are like.. but my kid has a nut allergy, my kid can only have lollipops kind of parent because I get quite a lot of those these days. I still believe that most kids would be allergic to oxygen these days if the doctors could make it sound like a viable thing. I mean, I guess my niece did the allergy testing, but I'm also a firm believer that she's allergic to those things because she was overloaded with them (like 10 cups of soy milk and 6 eggs a day kind of thing) and that she won't be allergic to them in the future when her lil system isn't overloaded on one specific thing.

What? Where? Am I missing it? Or do you mean the posts here on fb?

Thinking of transferring schools next semester.. I just don't really fit in here. Yahh it's nice and all but it just doesn't feel right. I miss my parents, I miss my pets, I miss my little brother, the school I'd be transferring to actually HAS the degree I want, not just the concentration. There's more opportunity for me there I feel. Question is, how do I bring this up to my parents?

Just sit down and tell them. Like "Hey mom and dad, I like this school but, I'm not happy here and the other school will be more beneficial for me because they actually have the major I want"

Thing is, I'm currently 5 hours away, have to still fill out the application for the other school (not sure when they'll get back to me on if I'm accepted or not), and I feel that they'll say it's because of my boyfriend I'm moving back when it isn't. Yes it will be nicer to be closer to him and all but that's not the sole reason. My mom will be happy because she misses me and wants me closer (oldest child, only daughter). My dad may see it as a waste of time that I applied and went to the other school in the first place

Fill out the application ASAP! I guess you'll just really have to stress the fact that it's not because of your boyfriend. It may seem like a waste of time, but it will be a bigger waste of time if you prolong it!

I started the application yesterday. I just have to work on the residency part and they do rolling admissions so I'll know ASAP if I'm accepted or not. I was accepted to the college for fall and one of my friends here is planning on transferring there (she's also from my town) so I wouldn't be going alone. Plus I have friends there already and one is in my major and he really loves the program!

Oh that would be awesome that your friends would be there too! Would you be living at home or on campus?
