Why did I foolishly think that this thread would be people's reflections on the most awesome moments/ overall amazing routines they saw this weekend? Instead, we have people bickering about team sunglasses for a competition in Florida...? A YOUTH team at that.

I can not believe The Summit is over ….! This honestly has been an amazing experience as a coach/gym owner. The talent down there was incredible and all these kids in my eyes are just as amazing as any Worlds team. I also have to say what great sportsmanship was shown down there by some of the teams we competed against! The only complaint I have is that I wish all 3 arenas were just as impressive as the Field House. Other than that I LOVE THE SUMMIT!

and I saw and heard the opposite of this. Teams that won/ got top three in my division were telling my team we didn't have a chance and that they already won. We didn't even make finals (2 stunt falls that never happen) and they got dead last in finals and I guess that's Karma. why do people have to be so cocky/rude?

my team didn't have the best summit experience. And did anyone else find the varsity workers to be extremely rude? Not pleased with that...

So proud of University Cheer Force J4 Lightning! From the beginning of the season I said they had a chance. Last year we only sent our LS3 & they didn't make it to finals. This year we sent LJ2, LJ4 & LSRC5. A 1st, 3rd & 5th!

Not only were they Great. But the J4 Lightning team kids were such great sports and super supportive of other teams. Great Job!!

Are there videos from the Summit? Usually Varsity posts them (with some of the routine taken out like UCA college) but all I see are the results (without scores ).

It should be posted soon. I think they will be posted this evening or tomorrow. I hope they post Saturday and Sunday.

I've seen one on there, it was my gyms Jr 2. But that's it.

All I can say about Summit is I'm so thankful for the support system I have throughout the country. Love knows no colors! Thanks to everyone who commented on my facebook/instagram this weekend, telling me good luck and good job...it literally meant worlds to me.
This was my second time competing at The Summit...this year I competed in large senior 4, last year large senior 3, and I am proud to say I'm one of only 3 athletes within my program that has not only made finals both years, but hit 4 0 deduction routines.
I couldn't of asked to end my career any other way. This weekend was literally magical.

This team is so so so so good and it breaks my heart that their talent hasn't been recognized for the past two seasons. I know they've lost Cheersport and the Summit for the last two years for various reasons, but I'm still such a fan. Hello team kick needles.

Is that the black and gold twister team from Georgia? I'm annually impressed by that gym. Took on their j4 last season and I swear they were the "whip factory". Clearly that's a skill taught in their progression because the whole team had whip through to layout...by a good tumbling coach. No janky whip overs that season (didn't see them this season) technique was excellent.

I always enjoy watching that program. It's solid.

I was very impressed with the level of competition I saw this weekend. This was my kids second year to make t here and I felt it had a "Worlds" feel without all the deductions. We nearly missed finals because of a small bobble but they came out determined and saved their best performance for last and ended up on top. The sportsmanship was exceptional although I did hear a few stories that disappointed me a little but most of these kids are just that.... kids and hopefully will learn. At the end of the day it was a great trip and well worth the expense. My only suggestion to Varsity would be to hold off the rain until we all leave next time.

I'm pretty sure I know what team this is and congrats to them! I kept an eye on them all weekend. You got your paid bid from NCA? My daughters team was next in line for the paid bid and had y'all's team and Cali reversed at NCA it would of went to my daughters team since Cali had one already. We got the first at large from NCA that got passed down because we only go on paid. I remember watching y'all at NCA and thinking wow they are so good! So I checked the schedule to see that y'all were further back for finals and I was like wow they are so good why is this!? Then I later saw they won. So I think NCA made a great choice giving y'all the bid; y'all were awesome!Interesting enough the team with the highest score at NCA that got the other paid bid did not make finals, I did not see what happened for them but it makes me sad for them! Congrats!! And if I'm thinking you are a different team then just ignore my post lol
