Am I The Only One Who Supports The New Uniform Rule?

Nope you are definitely not the only one, I'm right there with you.

my opinion has always been that if below senior division kids are too young to wear half tops, they're too young for their bodies to be sexualized for wearing them. but i do understand why the rules were put into place and while i don't agree with them, i agree they are necessary.

I do not support the rule. Cp has worn both half tops and full tops over the years. The half tops her programs have selected have never been risque or revealing, and have always accomodated a sports bra even if it had to be a one shouldered one. I see many full tops out there with chokers, mesh and cutouts in bizarre places that are far more revealing, unathletic looking and more resembling S & M outfits that any half top cp has ever worn. I think the poufs and makeup on little ones are far more disturbing than an athletic looking crop top.

Perhaps if certain gyms had not pushed the envelope on uniforms bordering stripper's outfits for their athletes of all ages, we would not be dealing with this now.

I am very happy that cp is aging out of juniors just in time and will never be subjected to this rule.

I don't really care. I don't mind kids in half tops (appropriate ones, some lately have bothered me a bit) but I don't mind full tops either. I've competed in both and they're both fine! Contrary to popular belief you won't die from heat stroke because your uniform covers your stomach.
Minuscule shorts and skirts bother me way more than someone's stomach. But there is a rule about that too, so hopefully skirts start getting longer.
