What is the best way to put words on bows? My softball friends want bows with their softball numbers on them? What's the best way to do that?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but does anyone know how bow makers attach the sequin fabric to the grosgrain? On the bows that are like covered in sequins like this 3 3 inch cheer cheerleader bowBLING red and by blingitoncheerbows
I found some sequin fabric at Joannes and I want to use it but I don't know what the best way to do it would be. I know people use heat and bond for mystic fabric but that would make the sequins melt.... Should I just sew it or is there a better way?
My guess would be either hot glue, or maybe iron on.

Iron-on letters. You can also use heat-seal glue to smoothly layer ribbon (that's slightly unrelated, but I felt the need to add it).

I use Liquid Stitch Iron-On (Instant Bod; I also have the original version, which takes 30 minutes to dry). My bows look gorgeous when I use it, it's much better than hot glue.

Edit: BTW, for anyone reading, I buy my grosgrain from Walmart. For some reason, they don't carry 3" ribbon, so I put two pieces of 1.5" together.

A cricket is a good way to do put words on bows. I use a plotter and a heat press to put words on mine, but a cricket is essentially a smaller version of a plotter. (and a lot less expensive, too!)

3" grosgrain ribbon! I've found that 30" of the ribbon makes the perfect sized bow.

I use heat transfer paper. They're a bit expensive, but easy to find and use. I buy the packets from JoAnn's.

To put the fabric on, the best product I have found is called heat n'bond. I use the ultra for most things I bond to ribbon. When bonding fabric to fabric I use the lite. I use a product called fray check on the edges of the fabric to prevent fraying
