All-Star Fierce Board Retiring?

Yes the fierceboard app is retiring. I understand why everyone is confused. There have been no twitter or Instagram posts explaining that it has accomplished everything it wanted to do in cheerleading but now must focus on other things, it didn't thank it's many followers for their undying support, it didn't beg for privacy or demand that no questions be asked, and Cheerupdates didn't tweet about it. The fierceboard app just wants to go away quietly, but we won't let it.

Just installed the Tap-a-Talk at. It's a little confusing at first. Do you still get push notifications like you do on the FB app?

Yes! I like it better because I can customize my notifications. I like getting notifications in the app when someone shimmies me, but I only want push notification for quotes or tags or PMs, for example.

The orange grows on you. It took about s week but it's less painful now.

Somehow @King has a blue theme in the app. I don't know how, but he does. Not fair.

The problem is that Tapatalk stopped allowing much of the cool stuff @King wanted to do on the app and only made it available in their own app.

So it basically just wasn't worth the effort fighting it. Kinda like being an independent event producer instead of part of Varsity.

is tapatalk free nowadays? i paid for it a while back and then the FB app became free so i switched over to that. i still have it on my iPad, i think. i always liked tapatalk. hopefully this means a little less work for King!

It's free, yes. I think they used to have a separate iPad app, but it's all the same now.
