Do you have a Coach that is amazing! If so, give him or her a shout out and share what makes them outstanding!
I will start. Coach Devin at WE is awesome!!!! He is tough and pushes kids. He always lets the kids know he believes in them. He helps the kids believe in themselves. He has a passion for the kids and cheer. He makes a positive difference in their lives that reaches far beyond cheer.

Every coach at CACharlotte. Brandon, Tye, Derek, Andy, Josh, Stephen, Mike and Lisa (and Caleb and Travis). They are the single most positive coaching staff on the planet. High fives and hugs indeed! Never yell except to shout praise and have patience and non-stop encouragement. I can't say enough about them!

Coach George at Vipers is truly incredible! He is the head coach of every single team! He is so smart and he pushes these kids to do their best on the floor every time they are out there. My daughter was scared of him at first because she wanted to make him happy but then she realized you try your best all the time that's all he wants and now she a big big fan of his! I still have a text message I sent to someone about him our second month here

Her feelings have not changed to this day

She said she knows that if he is smiling or if he tells you that you did a great job he truly does mean it, because he will tell you how it is all the time even if that's not what you want to hear but he definitely doesn't sugarcoat anything. When those girls do what he knows they are capable of he is over filled with joy for them and he shows it in a way that it is so heartfelt. She says a great job from him means more than anything any other coach says.

This was our first nationals comp last season and I was a mess because we knew (or thought we knew) it was our last season at Vipers and we were moving out of state so the whole morning was kind of drab. I didn't sit with the parents I sat at the very top so could take it all in and be sad in peace! He actually came up there and sat by me and told me not to be upset! That they love us there and understand it's a hard decision for me but told me it was going to be ok! He said if We would stop crying just for the comp that we could all cry together when it was over and he will cry with me! :( he is the most caring coach I have ever met!
Then they are about to take the floor and they are on deck and he texts me this picture! I started crying all over again of course! He is the biggest reason why we are still here!!! I owe so much to him and our owner! The best people in the world!!

However, I think they are all incredible and they all have very special things about them but George is the biggest reason for all our success!

Great point, all of our coaches at WE Magnolia are amazing! Coach Muindria and all the coaches there are the bomb! I did a specific shout out to coach Devin because I have seen him have this huge impact on my 2 CP's. My oldest CP had lost her confidence and passion for cheer. Coach Devin helped her find it again. It feels good to see her have that spark back and see her smiling again. I wish I could figure out how to post a picture here.

I'm incredibly blessed to have been coached by the best at Twisters. Joe, Matt, Mike, Shannell and Terri were all incredible and I'm so thankful for the impact they made on my life. Each of them made me want to work harder than I had the day before, and eatsleepbreathe cheer. My three seasons with them formed who I am as an athlete and as a coach. I think of them every time I do something and I know I wouldn't be working for the greatest company in the world without them.

Also, Jamie Coyle made my jumps rad my motions sharp. He's amazing in all ways possible.

Of course the coaches at my old gym, Tumble Tech. They pushed me every single day and made me feel like family from the very first day I walked into the gym and even now when I randomly come and visit just to make sure I can still do a cartwheel and not die ;) I could list a million reasons why they are the best coaches ever to me and y'all still wouldn't understand my love for them.

But I also want to mention some other gyms coaches including, Brandon and Infinity. I mentioned Infinity's coaching staff in the "Say something nice about another gym thread" but also when 'Steel' was attempting to make its comeback, Brandons coaches helped me in every skill I attempted, even when I was trying to get my tumbling skills up to par and they weren't up to the level required for level 5. They still encouraged me and cheered me on to help land my tumbling :)

Jamie may be one of the most amazing individuals to exist on this earth - and he is a great coach too!
My CPs have been blessed with great coaches over the last several years. We are spending Thanksgiving with our all time favorite coach. Even when he had taken some time away from coaching, he made the trip to see my CPs win their paid bid last year, and to see them at Worlds. We are so blessed to have him in our lives.

Princess Hotmess' favorite coach is our coach Kyle. He is an amazing coach and treats each and every team the same whether it is level 1 or level 5(which is one of the things I love about him) He can do no wrong even when he corrects her or conditions her.

Our fantastic coach for J2Crew... I swear sometimes he's the reason Katie goes to cheer.... She loves the sport, but she'll do ANYTHING for Ceddy....

He understands her and values her. He loves on her when she needs to be loved, and he speaks to her in a language I will NEVER understand. I'm perfectly okay with the most important man in her life being her Ceddy.

To start, Ben Pope (CEA). He was always the sweet and loving coach beside the business-oriented, my way or the highway coach...I'll never forget the year my parents made me switch gyms, I decided to go support some friends at the CEA showcase. Ben was the reason I started cheering. He was there that day when my parents were going to sign me up for gymnastics..he was the reason I instead signed up for cheer..I was 5. And on this day in 2010, he cried with me because I was so upset he wasn't my coach anymore. All the way until my last competition, my senior year (The Summit), every single time I saw him at a comp, regardless of whether I was competing against his team or not, he would hug me, give me a kiss on top of the head and tell me he's proud of me. You can't put money on those moments people...

Theapia Best (NJSE). Lord bless her sass. I had the privilege of her choreographing at Carolina Spirit. I'll never forget how afraid of her I was my first routine camp at CSA...they all told me to be afraid of her. They said that she was great, but she was a force to be reckoned with..and of course they were right, but they didn't tell me how much I would love her! She named me Bow Girl, and to this day, half my darn gym calls me by it. Haha.

And my CSA coaches. I realize I'm leaving 5 or so out, but these two were the ones who really impacted me..my two hard ones...
Katie Lowder...Katie was my coach at CSA every year. She is the one that taught me to do everything with love. She taught me to love my team, and show that on the floor. She is the reason I came to love this sport so much more. Oh and we're both cheer stalkers. :D
And Ashley Paschal...my very first year of cheer, Ashley was still cheering for CEA, on Coed Elite. They used to let the older kids kind of 'intern' per say and get the feel for coaching if they thought they wanted to be a coach in the future. So that first year, Courtney, Ben and Ashley were my coaches. I was devastated when I was younger, when given the news that she would be moving and no longer be my coach...but got an awesome surprise when I learned she would be stepping in for a coach that had to move at CSA, my senior year. She literally was there from the beginning..coached me my first, and last year. I love her so much...She's also a big reason I love this sport so much.

So there you have it. Sorry it's so long, but as I've said in multiple threads, I miss cheer so much...:(

Thank you! I am so humbled when people notice I treat my teams the same regardless of level, because I love all my teams equal! :)

Yes! Agreed 100%.

Another one (who's actually now at your gym) is Mat. He pretty much changed my kids' lives when they met him. Hands down their favorite coach of all time. Aside from the fact that I think he could teach a sloth to tumble, he's just an amazing person. Helped my older cp through some rough times (she's a bit of a wayward mess sometimes), right when she really needed a good role model the most. He's really a one in a million coach.

You guys are so lucky to have both of them! If my kids were still cheering, I would legit consider moving to SL.

If you come to STL we still need our guido/guidette night out! Make sure you bring Jeff :)
