All-Star New Uniforms 2014-2015 Season...just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!

Mesh. Is. See. Through. It's like, people see black mesh and suddenly forget it's not regular fabric. Nope. Nope nope nope.

You know, those stones on the mat could really be a hazard. At an earlier comp this season, my cp was doing a BHS series to transition into her stunt and had a sharp object impaled into her hand. It stayed in her hand during her stunt, and she somehow pulled it out during her double down (don't even ask me how...we all watched to video to see if we could tell, it was nutty.) Anyway, she managed to finish all of the routine and hit all of her elements with a bloody hand (she got blood all over this other flyer's shoe that she has to flip in the air, gag) but she could have been really hurt, and it definitely could have been disasterous for the routine. They got lucky she wasn't wimpy that day!

We weren't sure what it was that stuck her, most likely a pin of some sort...but those stones could also hurt the athletes if they land on them, and could get stuck in their palms. Just seems hazardous to have sharp, hard objects flying off the unis.

umm yeah wow, i wouldnt want to have to pay for a replacement uniform or fix after every competition. i mean anyone from the cali program know if they are going to pay to have the uniforms fixed or are they just gonna let all the stones come off on their own???

it is RARE that I stand up for varsity, but I feel like the SMOED uniform is not varsity's fault... their previous uniform had mesh with rhinestones on the upper arm (albeit, less rhinestones) and the same thing happened and then they bedazzled them themselves (at least that's how it looked.. some had lots and they weren't uniform and it drove my OCD crazy.) Bases use their arms to catch falling people. their arms get beat up. the coaches/whoever designed the uniform should know that. elbows bend *GASP* who knew?! and when they bend the fabrics rub against each other. in order to glue rhinestones onto fabric it needs FABRIC to stick to. with all of the holes in mesh, where is the glue supposed to adhere?

V may want to fix them for PR purposes, but I don't think they should be expected to like some of you are making it out to be. though I do hope they made a disclaimer prior to producing these that they'd do whatever the coach asked, but could not promise it would last. they knew before they sold these uniforms that the stones would not last a day.

First time I've ever liked zebra in a uniform.

All of the PCM ones look great! Two great examples of a clean, athletic looking uniform that also includes mesh and bling.

LOVE the Majesty uniform! Literally the only thing I could say is I wish there was some orange on the chest, maybe outlining PCM or something, but overall well done! Fantasy's are really pretty as well.

Thank you so much!!! I designed the Majesty uniform and that is exactly what I wanted to give them. Simple, clean and athletic. Hopefully you guys will see more from me.

Wasn't thinking of these... but I like the other zebra uni more. This was my favorite World Cup uniform.
