As to my comment about CEA's J5:

*Are there as many Senior team kids on that team as people are saying? The way people comment, it's as if the whole team is basically Coed/Senior Elite. Probably more like a stunt group?

* I mean, you can pull as many kids from your Senior 5 as you want onto your J5. If your Senior pool is not strong, the team still won't win, no? It doesn't always create a SuperTeam, you know?

*How do you guys remember exactly who is on a Worlds team to know that there are crossovers? I'm always so impressed that you guys know kids names/faces like that. I only happen to know from this site that CSP has a kid on teams. I am still trying to remember the kids my kid plays soccer with!

I twitter stalk on competition weekends. There's a picture not sure where to find it now from cheer allegiance where the junior team won and the kids still had on there senior uniforms in the picture.

It depends on the competition, but usually not. At most competitions they'll be on the Varsity scoresheet which means tumbling is worth the same amount for international teams as it is for senior teams. It makes it hard to compete against senior teams for bids.

Plus at some comps international teams are either not up for paid or only 50% of paid bids so if the top
2 teams were international it wouldn't matter anyway.

This!! I really don't like how even at competitions as big as Cheersport Nationals and NCA Nationals, only a maximum of one all-girl and one coed international team has a chance of getting paid even if they score among the highest. That's 4 divisions for international coed (large/small 5/6) going for ONE full-paid bid vs. 2 divisions for international all-girl.

The only other one I can think of is Cali, with a FEW kids being on Snipers and Smoed. That's just R5 to 5 though.

At UCA, a guy from YOSO showed me his World's rings...:rolleyes:I think that all gyms will do it under certain circumstances. Usually it's because the athlete expresses interest. I don't think it's a "we're too pure to crossover" thing. I think all gyms make exceptions - and not just for injury. They're running a business and sometimes the customers come first. Hey, what a concept: Customer service! Someone should market that and sell it! ;)

I already posted these videos but would really like some feedback on the routines. Don't hold back. I promise I won't be offended. Just wanted to see what people think.

Okay geez thoughts on CA Videos;

Did Wildcats get new music? Not sure if I like the new music but the stunts and pyramid look much better.

I thought Panthers did really well and I LOVE the fact that they brought back What's the Tea because that was probably my favorite Panthers team.

Cheetahs pretty much looked as sharp as they always do...

I thought Swoosh's stunts were SWOOSH OH MY GOD, they just really executed the stunts extremely well and that's one of my new favorite routines.

Does anyone know why they brought back what's the tea? That was my fav dance but it seems random haha
